Robbinsville was supposed to play MH this week but cancelled because of 14 players testing positive for virus..They have also closed school for 14 days.Guess that means their next week game cancelled as well.
Heart valve repaired, plus a bypass of a main artery. Yep I’m great! I believe I could climb that hill from the stadium without stopping to rest now?

Glad to hear that. Yes he is. Classes going well so far. He is going to Mayland this year then is going to transfer up to App St and room with couple of his teammates from this past year.

Yes, they played great against a good team. There were no long drives by the Cougars. One long pass play, one long run, and one interception put the Cougars inside the 20 three times, and the Bears stopped them every time.

This is probably worst heritage team in last 5 years.
Know you lost a lot of kids from last years team, but any win against the Cougars is a good win.
Anyone know what Heritage has in the hopper for the future? Pisgah JV is as solid of a squad as I have seen in some time. Heritage has excellent coaches and a winning tradition that has been put in place especially under Joey! I'm sure this may be a down year for MH but don't think for a second they will be down for long at all!! Yancey Co and Mitchell Co are both kicking out some great teams as of late! I really like what the talent PHS has coming up the ranks, from the two middle schools all the way to the JVs that will likely contribute on Friday nights before the end of the season if I were a betting man. Does anyone know what MH has coming up and is the future bright in Yancey as I would expect?? Love some Mtn Football yall!!! We may not be as fast or athletic overall like the Piedmont to the coast....but we have some gritty, hard working, hard hitting youngins in these hills!! Best of luck to the Cougars on the season and I feel really good about the win considering the studs they grow out that way!! Never count out Heritage!! Cheers Men!
Heritage jv team is loaded with athletes, the freshman QB is real deal fast with cannon arm. In my opinion the freshman good enough to start on varsity now kid will be special.

Both teams will find out Friday night just how good they are.
I think we will be fine against Pickens. MH might have a tough time with Hendo, but Hendo hasn’t been in a challenging game yet.
I hope you're right but anytime you put 56 points on any team you have to be pretty good.
They are 4A in SC which compares to our 2A. We scrimmaged them at Pickens in 2019. Won pretty easily then. Hope that holds true.
Heritage just can't score the past few seasons. They don't have that running back who can break long TD runs.
This may shock some people, look for Joey open the offense up next year, that freshman qb is a baller.
We played Enka two week ago at Enka and had a bigger crown than Enka ..We always have a good crowd.
