Well you got to play the clock out , or should the whole East team sit on the bench and run the clock out, I think some posters have no idea football , I saw some sayin prep had something for East and diamont would be a different team against the cards too , I’m telling East lost some major players but they are still very good
I was having a much better week this week than last. I had a sinus infection and a touch of bronchitis and sleep through the games or don't remember if I caught the end of any of them. Still wheezing some but 85% better.
Big showdown for the Northwest Conference Championship next Friday night With all eyes on the Mount Airy home game vs East Surry. On paper, it shows to be a great game, but with these 2 you never know. I wash them a great and safe game with no injuries to go into the playoffs with.
I think East has improved quite a bit. They kept Ashe at bay until the 4th quarter last week.
Walkertown wins 20 to 7 over Surry Central.
Very unispired performance from Walkertown.. they should thank their lucky stars they have who they have next Friday. If they play as bad in the playoffs as they did tonight they won't go anywhere. Sick or not sick they played very bad tonight.. gave Central the ball 3 to 4 good times and they got lucky nothing happened each time. Game should have never been that close due to the athlete edge.
They won't be that lucky vs Reidsville that's for sure.

East Surry scores late and goes for 2point conversion up big. Ma scores late last week and kneeled on xtra point.
That was deleted after a minute because I did not realize the running clock was already in the 4th Qtr when the score was 57-00, the SS scored 8. I was watching other & posting scores of other games too.
Can't breathe and no predictive caught just dry hacks and deep wheezing. At times the wheezing sounded like a cartoon character saying please, please as I was breathing. LOL Did you have that happen to you? I'm not kidding !

Well sounds like ES went for 2 late. Sure a good time to work on stuff but maybe you were right.

Mount Airy took a knee for the extra point at the 1 or 2-yard line rather than running the score up on Bishop Tuesday. They could have gone for 1 or 2 extra points.
Holder always had his 2nd string in with a large lead and let them play. And with 2 minutes to go inside the 20 yd line and 1st down they run out the clock a many of times.
You know year after year it’s the kids down the road getting thrashed with all the talk now running up scores , coaches at the ma game standing on the wrong side , last season it was the gosnells shouldn’t be allowed to transfer back or maybe Washington shouldn’t be allowed to play at East , it’s always something against pilot , fact is they have a heck of a coach now that’s putting some real drive in those teams , so posters keep pumping them , got your hands full next week .
I believe back in 08 with team , they threw up around 850 maybe , that was a lot of running it up , get real East scored 35 in the first quarter tonight ended up with what 57 come on , he’s playin all those kids not just the starters

I try to enjoy posting scores and then you get a dumb false post like this and it ruins the whole night. When you have a 2nd string that is better than the team you are playing, it is not running up the score and Mount & East Surry have had than in many years past.
Yes, they won The State Championship in 08 and their 2nd string was so good they went to the State Championship in 09 and lost by 1 point in OT... That's not running up the score when your 2nd string is as good as your 1st string. LOL has your team even got to the state championship. Go cry on someone else's shoulder and pray for a winning team ! ! It was 845 points in 08 and that was the 3rd highest points ever scored in all 4 classes 1A- 4A in football history.
