1a/1aa contenders for state title

Before the beginning of the season I would have said Robbinsville, now I'm not so sure. Murphy's defense is better. Murphy is bigger. Robbinsville's offense is better. Gonna be a good game as usual.

How can you say one school is better then the other at this point on offense or defense? Both have handled opponents comfortable up to this point. I would guess and say stats are real close too. On paper you might give the nudge to Robbinsville. They appear to be just a little deeper and the game is in Robbinsville. But you don’t win on paper and Murphy will roll in to Robbinsville looking to win.

I'm not sure who will win but I think Robbinsville is the favorite on paper at Big Oaks.

One thing I know is a football isn't round and nobody knows how it's going bounce.

The only thing we know for certain at this point is that the game is at Big Oaks, which I would say alone is worth 7 points to Robbinsville. The other thing that I would say is a certainty is that Robbinsville is the deeper team. So if the overall talent is close (which I'm guessing it is) those two factors could definitely be the difference. Murphy would obviously need to play really well in general and win the turnover and field position battle to get a win up there this season.

Cherokee probably won't be an easy game, they've improved the most from week 1 until now of anyone in the conference.

I think so as well. Talent wise both teams are pretty equal. Our defense looks great. Our offense looks very sluggish at times or not in sync. I’d say that has to do with a limited off season and a few new faces at positions

Not enough playing time for starters is killing us..but u can't go out and score 70 points a night on other SMC schools. That would not be classy..Walsh stuck between a rock and a hard place
