You don't have to look far down the road and notice the winds have changed for now anyways....Hunter Huss has never been a complete power house in Gaston County, South Point is one game above .500 I believe and Kings Mountain as well as Burns will both beat Crest most likely for the first time since 1998...Shelby's time is coming as well. Or maybe they will weather the storm. Time will tell

Shelby will always be strong... when the County put all the Elizabeth school zone and all Holly Oak area to Shelby to bring the numbers up It just made them more of a power house than they already where

This game could be close but the offense for Crest will have to be on point. That Huss defense is good.

Haven't jumped ship, but no sense in getting on these boards and thumping our chest like crest is going to stomp Huss, Crest is gonna have to want this game more than anything in the world and play like it's a state championship in order to win, or the Huss QB could always quit before game time...that might help

After watching the Huss/KM game, the Chargers need more than desire to win against Huss. Not slamming Crest. Just being realistic. Although, Burns did beat Shelby last year. So................ I guess miracles do happen.

Crest surprised me. I'll eat my crow happily. Just goes to show you never count the charger boys out. I loved watching Eddins running around yelling and screaming and the boys dumped the water cooler on him. Great game, hard fought...all but guarantees crest a share of the conference assuming tragedy doesn't strike.

Been watching Crest football since 1970. I’ve never seen a team that wanted to win more than this Charger team. Several players played on both sides of the ball most of the night. It took every single player to help pull this win out tonight. Congratulations to Coach Nick Eddins and his staff.
