Smoky's lines are just too big. When you combine that with the fact that they all just play one way, I feel they wear Robbinsville down in the 2nd half. Final score, 28-24 Smoky.

***Disclaimer:. If the Smoky QB turns the ball over like he has in 7-on-7 and scrimmage play, then Rville wins by 14.

I heard Smoky's running back had put on a bunch of weight and was much slower this year .
Any truth to that?

As long as Smokys head coach listens to his mentor asst.coach that came with him don't count on them to win the big games. Asst.coach never won the big games while he was head coach at Pisgah. They had us beat last season and went away from what was working, which was the Frady kid running over us. We've seen it in Canton from him many times and he evidently whispered in the head coaches headset last year at Smoky. Smoky has the potential but we'll see how it plays out. Not a very rough non conference for them either...

Smoky has one of the best coaching staffs in wnc. Overall better than the bears. But no one can out coach injury and 15 to 18 year minds. Smoky should be able to play with anyone they face this year which is all you can ask for out of a high school team that hasn't known success in a long time. Depends on the QB situation but I believe smoky will win and if they do they could be 10-0 at the end of they year. But right now it's all speculation and we find out tonight what everyone has.

Smoky does have a good coaching staff (Pisgah alumni) on the sidelines, but they do NOT in any world have a better coaching staff than Pisgah. Lol .

Defensively they are not better but not worse they learned from the assistant you dislike so much. Pisgah offensive coaches are below average that's a fact so many weapons with no production not just tonight but last year as well. If chappel hadn't forced smokys head coach out to take the reigns of the offense for himself the bears would have more to be excited about not first round exit and a goose egg to start the year. But this is a smoky robbinsville thread sounded like a great game
