East Davidson - Providence Grove

I know we are a week away before the season starts but I wanted to see what you guys thoughts are on the game.

I was at the jamboree last night at SW Randolph to watch my son play. Providence Grove didn't look overly impressive but hard to tell from a scrimmage. They have a small quick WR who also played some RB that made a couple of plays and I think he had a TD when they played West Davidson. Other than that, they didn't look to have much size or alot of speed but I remember when they played last year they were a good disciplined team.

For East, they need to shore up the pass coverage but the run defense looked really good. The defense did give up I think 2 pass TDs but I know the defense has had a couple of corners out and I know they weren't playing their best players. On offense, the run game looks pretty good and pass game pretty decent too. The QB looks a lot more accurate passing the ball and had 3 TDs total against the 2 teams they scrimmage. So I would say East has a good chance against PG just hard to tell from a scrimmage.
