3. Catholic
4. Richmond
5. Weddington
6. Butler
7. Vance
8. Christian
9. Shelby
10. South Pointe
11. Northwest Cabarrus

15. Huss
16. Statesville

While I would love to be a homer and say Statesville belongs here. I cant. Their are more than a few teams in the that should be ranked higher than Statesville.

Marvin Ridge
Hickory Ridge
Kannapolis
Mooresville
Monroe
Crest
Central Cabarrus
West Charlotte
West Meck
North Meck
Stuart Cramer

Interesting to see Myers Park be so high. Jury is still out on them as well. I think in 3A everything still comes down to Weddington and Catholic, with Kings Mountain and Huss right behind them

I see Myers park winning 4AA. They get a new kid from another program every 3 weeks. Mallard Creek will win 4A. Weddington will win 3AA. Catholic will win 3A. Shelby will win 2A. 1A I don't know anything about

Myers Park won’t win anything. They are a perennial choke program especially in post-season just like Huss. Won’t matter who they have. If they make it to second round that’s where they’ll get flattened, maybe quarters but that’s being nice. They had this supposedly “unstoppable force” force program in 2005 with Div 1 bound supermen going to Duke, Carolina, and Wake. They finished 9-6 and their first loss was to Catholic. When MP plays the big boys, they fall hard. 2019 won’t be any different.

They went into Richmond Co and beat an undefeated #1 seed that year as well.

Which was a nice win but also underscores the gap between Richmond and the top tier 4aa teams. They got manhandled by Wake and had no clue what to do with the passing attack of MP. Till has them moving in right direction but its gonna take a couple more years of solid weight room growth and some tougher competition to get to the next level.

2 years in a row getting beat on homefield against good Meck county teams but not even the elite.

As far as 05’ goes, it was only a 9 pt. win, 22-13. Everything else, I agree with. They have to get better at defending teams with high-octane passing games. That’s always their kryptonite.

Honestly I'm pretty new to North Carolina but it is evident that the best football is played in the Charlotte area. I'm calling a Southern shut out on the 2-4A championships

Neither is anywhere close to Charlotte. But I get what you're saying
