No surprise really. This was going around the day the NB coach resigned. He's stepping into a mess. Whoever takes over at Pamlico will have enough talent to go far in the playoffs again.

Far from a mess, talent is there. He’s the type of guy that can make a instant impact in a wide open 4A. Future is bright!

You are bragging about bringing Pamlico County kid's in to New Bern?? Like I said it's a mess.

Our players are home grown. They’ve reached 7 4A/4AA title games the past 15 years with New Bern, NC talent. Pamlico just reached their first state title game.

Yeah I get that, I know typically New Bern has plenty of their own talent without needing any Pamlico kids. What I'm asking is if any Pamlico kids have transferred to New Bern in the past to play football.

Well anyway Tutt is a great pickup if he comes with Nowell, he is definitely talented enough to make an impact at the 4A level and is only a 10th grader. He's a future college player with his speed, strength and size at RB.

You had mentioned Nowell may be bringing more than just Tutt with him, if so I could definitely see his best lineman Armstrong coming along too. Armstrong was the other kid on their roster (besides Murray and G Jones who're both graduating) that really looked good at 6'2 260 with good athleticism.

We’ll see what happens. Main goal is to do what is in the best interest of the kid. Just glad we got a leader of young men to help these boys succeed both on and off the field.

The entire town of New Bern is without power, so I’m not going to waste my remaining battery looking up the rules of the NCHSAA. I do know of a few players that followed a defensive coordinator to a school this year. New Bern will play it by the rules.

No, there must be a physical address change OR if both LEAs sign off on it then he can play. Usually means HC and principal from old school signing off on it. If they do not then he must physically move is the NCHSAA rule on it I believe.

PC players are traditionally loyal to the County, cant see him leaving his "family" to go play in that mess that NB has going on and take beatings his last 2 years. If he wanted to transfer to be noticed he would probably go to Havelock, they just lost 2 sr RBs

Those beatings are about to stop. A lot of great things happening behind the scenes at New Bern. Talent on the roster and plenty coming in from the middle school ranks. This guy will do wonders in his first year, take it to the bank.

We shall see, but he definitely cant come up to 4a running those same 3 plays he did in 1a lol

Several rumors going around, but if you made me bet an amount of money that mattered to me, it would be that he stays put. Armstrong kid as well.

I can tell you the middle school talent the past few years in Havelock has not been what it was the past.

Ohhh I got u... I think they will be ok tho, parents are seeing what's going on in Havelock and many are not willing to let their kids waste 4 yrs in programs who have no intention on helping they kids past that 4 yrs
