Ugly game but a win is a win. A tale of two halves with Catholic getting the job done in 2nd half bulldozing the Cardinal offense. Too bad their fans can’t handle the truth on the other thread blaming the refs and boo hooing. Can’t say it surprises me really.

Anyway, congratulations to Catholic on a big win and back to back State Championships. We knew you could do it.

Poor FootOdor,, He was a Razors edge from Disappearing again like he did when T.J. Logan and Northern Guilford ran the CC Cougars off the field are few years ago. He was gone for months until CC finally won the Ship and then he reappeared. He is just an old fart and his only claim to fame is riding the coattails of the kids at CC when they win and is not to be found when they lose.. So SAD !!!

Some of you guys should probably just put the internet down for a day or so. A week full of Hudl film and we can run on them or all they do is get turnovers has kinda made you guys crazy. I get it....You were ready to explode at half but Catholic sort of messed up the celebration .

Relax...all is well. Not the first team to get beat by Catholic. In fact....happens all the time.

Jville played well just not well enough. It happens

Turnovers would be the difference?...check, they were. Cards with 3 and CC with 1

I kept waiting for CC to steamroll Jacksonville and it never happened. Turns out CC didn't control the clock like we were told they would. The passing game was all CC had. Great coaching and adjustments at the half, but two really bad interceptions in the second half were the game.

Congratulations to CC the best team that recruiting and money can buy and to me JACKSONVILLE is the real PUBLIC SCHOOL 3A champ.

a bunch of 5’ 10”, 165 lb skeletonized looking kids.

the FACT is, that group is hard working, well coached and they EARN everything they get.

It's funny to watch the irrational JHS haters on here. Nobody declared that the Cards would win. We said it would be a close game. It was. We said that CC wouldn't shut down the Cards running game and that we would break off some long runs. We did. We said Jacksonville could control the clock if we could average about 5 yards per carry, we averaged 4.5.

Basically, all the CC fanatics predicted a "curb stomping"(your statement I think), and it didn't happpen. You were wrong.

What is bruh? Are you this ghetto ? But your rich and live in gated community? Yes your so rich why would your wife be in the service and move to good ol Jacksonville?? See you make zero sense. You need take your NFL hall of fame resume and coach JHS. They lost because of Williams. He's never and will never be an elite coach

Congrats to CC...enjoyed watching this team play this year. Jax has nothing to be ashamed of....very impressive team speed and a nice offense that was fun to watch.

How many returning starters next year for both teams? I can’t see CC being as dominant next yr.... good luck to both teams

Go back and watch the end of the 3rd qtr. and start of 4th. Refs were complete trash. Blatant pass interference on the interception at exactly 1:49 left in the 3rd. LB shoved the reciever 10 yards off the line. If he hadn't, the JHS reciever would have been there for the ball.

JHS holds CC and and takes posession after holding them on 4th down

JHS gets a 1st down on a pass and is called for holdin 8:54 left in the game. Next play QB runs out of bounds and is hit by CC well after he is out of bounds and no call. CC didn't just push him, he tackled him. Those turn of events changed everything.

No call against CC on an interception. Call on JHS on a first down. No call on CC on a blatant late hit. So yes, the refs cost them the game.

I challenge any honest person to take a look for yourself. These calls weren't even close and would have changed the game. These were huge possessions and every call hurt JHS and helped CC.

Catholic graduates arguably one of the best classes. This class since 6th grade has won their championship except for 6th grade and their sophomore year.
Catholic loses QB, 1RB, most of the OL. Defense loses essentially the DL and a good part of the secondary. So returning are RB's and a good LB core.
One thing about Catholic is the subs get a lot of extra coaching and playing time with extended playoff runs.
