I think the dawgs win this one. Idk much about west Stanley only that their record is 6-4 and they’re coming off of a 40 pt loss to another 6-4 team. I also think that Thomasville needs to move up the entire jv team just to add some extra depth because we may need it in the playoffs.
West beat Albemarle in overtime 29-28 in a game Albemarle should have won. Albemarle had a two touchdown lead in 4th quarter but two turnovers was the difference. The Bulldogs takes this one by two touchdowns.
We are a much improved team since week 1. Coach Robertson and Staff have done an awesome job. Props! The players have continued to improve game to game. Props!
I agree with @BigDawgFan16, move them up! There are a few JV guys, if moved up could have an impact. Bulldog Sam knows one in particular.

Yes ITJ, quite a few studs on jv that could really help with depth. It just feels good to be in the play offs.

Thomasville wins this game comfortably. Thomasville has the better athletes and the better coaching. West Stanly benefited from playing in a terrible conference and getting the #2 conference seed to help their playoff seed. Good luck to Thomasville in the playoffs.
We played West Stanly. Their offense is a wing t. They were not very good but I think they have gotten better. After seeing THS and WSHS I give the edge to WS in a close game.
Are you talking about seeing tville after that first game? If so Lol...were far from that team now,were playing real good right now,coaches got the guys believing in what their doing
One of their key players was their starting quarterback from last season. He transferred and starts for North Stanly this year. They had a coaching change this season and changed offenses and supposedly that is why the quarterback transfered . They have a couple of pretty good running backs but I still think Thomasville wins going away. The only team they beat this year with a winning record was South Stanly and it was something like s 3 point win.
Tville has been through a lot this year. They got shellacked by ledford and North but it wasn't because of coaching, just numbers. I think Tville will have too much speed here. Could be wrong, but I'm predicting an upset.
West trailed Albemarle and made a tremendous comeback... however, they gave up a ton of yardage against Forest Hills running back. I've seen both teams. West in a sneaker....about 27-24.
Note sure why you feel that T-Ville should have beat Salisbury. If that were the case then they would have. I think both teams were equally matched. Robertson has done a great job at T-Ville and I think this was a great draw for them in the first round of the playoffs. Good luck...
True, if they were better on that particular night they would have if they should have. After seeing both later in the year I feel Tville is better. Just my opinion.

I do have a concern though,and it's all the penalties tville gets,I understand if your gonna be aggressive on defense penalties will happen just comes with the territory,but it's the penalties like false starts,Lining up off sides,late hits,holding on plays were the ball is 30-40 yards down field,illegal procedure on WR that's just uncalled for,and I'm sure the coaches preach to be smart and discipline,most of these penalties are just a lack of focus,can't have it in the playoffs because it's 1 and done now,if we could cut the penalties in half we could be dangerous
I know T-Ville has layed some whooping on people over the years and no one felt sorry for them these last several years, but dang, it seems as if they may have the pieces in place(coaching staff), to get the program tracking right again! Personally it is exciting to see them back somewhat! Best of Luck Dawgs!
bkknights93, yes there is a large number of football stars in 5th-9th grade and with this new coaching staff in place, gonna change the program.
With no dog in the fight, I will take t'ville. I seen West Stanley play Mount Pleasant was not impressed with W.S.. Mount was able to do anything they wanted to, they could run and pass anytime they wanted too. I will say this tho the running back for M.P. Landon Honeycutt is a load. He won the wsoc tv player of the year award.

In spite of my Tar Heel roots, that’s a last name in this case, not a school. But it does have a great ring to it. And, for the record, that one in Columbia is a pretender.
Not sure about conditions but we did get word that metal detectors will be used and no bags or pocket books are allowed in stadium unless in clear bags like you use going to college or NFL games. With temperatures getting low how do we carry in the warm gear?My question: as an avid bulldog fan what’s going on down there?? What kind of environment are we getting in to? Should we be worried? Any insight???
