Obviously we dont want Huss and their dominant front, will be hard to gain a yard. Also dont want the Popes boys because they have invented football here in NC so Im hoping for NW Cabarrus. Its somebody different and then we may have a shot.

Yep. I agree. Chances are, we're going to get demolished no matter who it is. But NW Cabarrus is probably the lesser of the 3.

Coach Laws said last week that over the summer he talked to Catholic Coach about playing so maybe it will happen, it would be good for us.
CC by 20 over ACR , No disrespect , but CC is in another world compared to even the best Schools in the State. Can they be beat, sure but history says not very often.

I know coach Laws at ACR likes to play good non-conference games. It lets you know where you stand and what you need to work on. Playing terrible non-conference games doesn't help except to maybe help playoff seeding. I know Catholic has a top notch program. I guess we will have to wait and see.

in the playoffs seedings really dont mean squat. to be the best you got to beat the best. theres several tems out there in big 3a and small 3a that will be a tough out. acr is one of those teams.i remember from last year that qb from sun valley. lord that kid is awful good. one of the best high school quarterbacks i have seen play in close to 50 years of watching high school football.you know catholic is gonna be tough.weddington is hard to beat year in and year out.crest is always tough. i cud go on and on.the bottom line to me is wherever your seated you got to suit up and go play the game, home or away.may the best team win. go green

Yea sam Howell is REALLY good. I get a feeling he’s gonna make another trip up the mountain again either to Erwin or Reynolds, but that all depends on seedings. I know I don’t want to see him.
