$1 a month break the bank? I knew rents were high in Asheville, but didn't know people were pinching pennies that tight.
WLOS has the worst news in the state of North Carolina and the citizen times is more concerned with the topless rallies than anything
I agree. I grew up in Valdosta Georgia and move to the Asheville area about 15 years ago. The sports coverage down there is so much better. What WLOS does every Friday night is an absolute joke. I'll give the Citizen Times credit as far as their High School Hudl goes because he does a pretty good job but charging people is not the answer.
I had the price wrong, I will admit when I am wrong. It is actually $1 for 3 months right now. Should get you through football season for $1. Watch your language.

Andrew Pearson did an excellent job with the Huddle while he was there. Not nearly as good now.
The thing I dislike the most is the fact they include Christ School with all the public schools.
Really? I like the new guy a lot. I feel like there is a lot of variety in the coverage. He does a good job of finding interesting topics to write about. But just my opinion.
I suppose. I mean, Pearson was also there for nearly 20 years. Thompson has been there a year. I'm impressed with how quickly he adjusted and is able to find those stories no one ever wrote about before. Regardless, I think we can all agree the CT does a waaay better job than WLOS LOL.
Most newspapers in WNC charge you,Mountaineer,Franklin Press .I am sure they are others.
WLOS sports is like a clown show with Stan Pam- syphilis leading the way. If they didn't waste so much time on Darcel's crap stories and stuff from local news in California they would have much more time for local highlights that viewers would actually watch and care about.
It's a little hypocritical to complain about coverage if you're not willing to support any local news. You'll be much angrier the day it disappears for good.

Living here in the Charlotte area I DVR the WBTV football coverage, they have a special 30 minute show each Friday night after the news. It allows me to watch highlights from most all teams in this area. There is no reason WLOS, or MY40 can’t do the same thing. It’s sad as much as football is loved in WNC!
You said I would miss the news. Nope not really. I understand the huddle is not the typical news but for Gods sake man ESPN has even got in on the political scene. Please tell me you are not oblivious.
