It kind of strange fellas, at least from my point of view, as a outsider looking in. Is Cramerton purple mist really effecting SP? or is it just low population in general at Belmont? Honestly just asking.

Not really. East Gaston was impacted most by Cramer, primarily most of the Mt Holly kids go to Cramer. Makes no sense.

Not sure why the county gerrymandered the district lines to negatively impact SP's attendance. There are two trains of thought out there though. One is that the county has always had a sore spot for SP's football dominance in the county. They hate that their pride and joy Ashbrook was surpassed years ago and can't stand the fact that little town Belmont rules the roost. The other theory is that they actually know and planned for the upcoming growth down New Hope Road (McLean developments) which will 100% be in the SP school district. That should bump SP back up to 3A in the next assessment. The truth is probably a mix of the two and they used this as an opportunity to give SP a three year 2A timeout. Like making your kids sit in the corner for punishment. True government standards; penalize the successful and reward the floaters.

You probably should have stayed in 3a it’s much easier. 2a is tough, as y’all found out last year in the second round.

So East Gaston used to be 4A, so obviously, their School can handle more students correct? Is South Point not built to accommodate possible 4A numbers with the development of that new neighborhood? Was Stuart Cramer really necessary?
