2nd team had a TD run called back for penalty.....1st team before going off the field had a nice pass from Kaba dropped in the endzone......we have not shown really any consistency in passing so far thats something thats going to have to change

Next session back on D....DB gets lost gives up long pass....dline having some problems being alil too aggressive jumped offsides multiple times....next week those types of things are going to hurt

Well the guess silver lining on that last session was the DB wasn't one of our starters so.....still against Hobbton didnt like how we defended the pass....They werent doing anything to complicated alot of swing passes to the RB screens and slants

Observation so far front 7 been solid on defense no real big runs the Achilles heel so far has been defending the pass dline did have some penalties they need to clean up tho just being to aggressive which is not necessary a bad thing but gotta watch that ball.......offense 1's have moved the ball well so no complaints really would like to see some passes completed tho

I agree Hobbton was the surprise tonight. Of course, I was impressed with the DarkHorses athleticism, but what I was most impressed with was the organization. The coaches played a lot of people making multiple changes each play, but everything seemed to be in a smooth transition. Everyone seemed to know their role and place. I believe they'll be ready to play a real game next Friday against a really good opponent. One thing we fans have not seen in the scrimmage is special team play. I hope we got a kicker, holder, punter, etc, but having heard Coach Johnson say his emphasis on special team play is like "Beamer Ball" so I feel confident that's been well addressed.

The only kicker i see listed on the roster is the third string QB Payton King.....im willing to bet that Kaba can punt lol probably can kickoff too

Hobbton in that spread looked good tho...that QB has a nice arm and he gets it out fast dont remember seeing him last year.....give them a year or so i think they will be a pretty solid team again...definitely wasnt expecting that....and for what its worth Midway looked muched improved aswell...sometimes a coaching change is good for a program
