Round 3: Weddington @ Catholic

Yes, both teams are different now. Catholic get's the running clock sooner this time.
I will say if Catholic plays like they did the first time the running clock can come out again.
The penalties vs Cramer were a bit odd as a lot of them seemed to come within a 10 play span late in the 2nd including I think 4 straight plays with a penalty.
Weddington is very one dimensional. Their only running game seems to come fromt he QB scrambling and making plays which he can very well.
I think the Cougars front 7 especially Kevin Coss will be ready for his scrambling ability having seen several QBs who can move including Schrader at Christian and the MR QB.
Another aspect is depth. Weddington does not have great depth, a good amount of guys go both ways and if Catholic starts grinding out 12-13 play drives that can hurt Weddington big time.

Yes they did. I think they will again too. This front 7 for Catholic is very strong. Hard hitters across the board too.

Why would I pick the underdog in this one? I haven’t picked against Catholic yet and don’t plan too.
havent seen either team play but im thinking this will be a lot closer this time around. weddington sure does seem to stand tall when it comes playoff time. good luck to both teams
Wouldn't matter if he did. Catholic's 2nd string would be starters on any other team.
Think he may be referring to a DT who came out during the game, he is fine as far as I know.
Carson will out coach Charlotte Catholic and lose because all his kids are from weddington. Now if you let weddington recruit a rb from Bessemer City, a wr from ashbrook, a DB and dl from rock hill, and a hand full of starters brought in from other counties...he would win

You guys know you are doing nothing playing public schools. Your rings (if you do beat all the public schools) will mean about as much as a left handed football bat. Funny you guys struggled against Charlotte Christian. Don't worry no private schools from now on out...
In all honesty I have nothing against catholic...people were so mad about independence during there run but the truth is these teams can be beat. Crest has done it folks, New bern, Northern guildford, they've all done it. Catholic is not invincible...to me they are the private school version of South Point...relax...and if you get the pleasure of facing catholic, take some resumes with you because apparently these people are LOADED!!!
