Don't believe in a good L but this could be a confidence builder for RC. Hard to start that slow on a good team. Road gets a tad easier then it picks back up.

Raider JV score vs Butler JV's??....maybe the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing 2017 season thus far.

Raiders down 27-7 at the half looked like they had no shot.
Raiders score twice in the 3rd making it 27-21 entering the 4th.
Butler drives mid 4th kicking a fg good, Raider flag on play and Butler
takes pts off the board gets 1st down inside the 10, Raiders hold and Butler
misses fgstill 27-21,,,, Richmond fumbles at their own 40 next possession, Butler takes over
and again drives deep in Raider territory around 3-4 min remaining, Richmond blocks
attempted fg and still trails by 6 with 3 minutes. Raiders drive to the Butler 20 first down
with about a minute left. Butler stiffens and Raiders are stopped on 4th down from the 20
as Richmond tries an end around pass by a receiver, it was overthrown.
Butler 0 pts in the 2nd half, 0 pts overall in the 4th.
Richmond could have easily quit here with how things were looking at the half.
Nice comeback giving them a real chance to win at the end...

Sounds like they've got a good foundation for the future. Seems like the butler game has been a nail biter the last few years. Just don't bring that magic when you come to Scotland. We hired TSA officers to work the gates at that game to make sure lol.

very nice pregame last night at Raider stadium, beautiful sung version of The National Anthem", followed by a short community gathering type speech from the sheriff, followed by "God Bless America"
sung twice through with the crowd doing the second version. Thumbs Up

Proud of the Raiders. Hard fought game, just dug a hole too, early, but great showing. Good non-conf. schedule, now taking a week off and getting ready for SAC. Go Raiders!

Got tails whipped in the first half, but with the late first half "chippiness" (is that a word?) seems like Butler "poked the bear" and fired up the Raiders. Got to love the never give up attitude of these Raiders.

That ain't happening. They still get beat upfront. SC knows exactly what RC will do. Jet Sweep you and quick pitch you to death. Their oline is not very good not sure how they put up 21 on Butler in 1 half if Butler D is as good as some folks think. SC will run for 300 plus yards and keep their offense on the sidelines. Scots by 14 or more.

until proven otherwise by you guys. This RC team looks just like last year good but nothing special. I think Next year if they are as young as everyone says they could be a serious contender i just didn't see it. That Oline still has leaks and SC has just as many athletes as you guys especially on defense so I just don't see a different outcome. Could you win of course you could but I will have to see it not predicting it.
