Heritage has a really good ball club this year, most talent on the O and D line possibly ever, solid linebacking core and skill players, and our qb Robinson is a very talented ball player, I was expecting this game to be in the 36-14, 44-22 range but this game really got away from Erwin in the 3rd, Erwin has plenty of athletes and size but they were over matched tonight, their offense wasn't as potent as it was a year ago but they moved the ball very well just couldn't convert on those 3rd and 4th down situations, I'd hate to see what 6 or 47 could do in a good power offense

I think it has a lot to do with Shane Laws being a good coach. ACR has talent but laws knows how to put guys into the right spot.
I really think Erwin should run Poore a little more and try to establish him first. I am not sure if Bucky has too much pride/faith in his passing offense to do that though.
All around impressive performance from Heritage. As cougars45 mentioned above Heritage line was dominate. Erwin has some skill players, but got destroyed on the line.
Man I hate to admit that this may very well be one of the best teams to come out of Burnsville. Hopefully Mitchell can make a game of it when they play.

Erwin needs to run Poore more, leave the Sophomore QB in there for the whole game. Turn the offense over to him, he will make mistakes but he will be very good by his senior year. They miss Ferguson more then anyone knows!
This performance by Erwin proves they are really down this year and it really devalues Shelby's dominance over Erwin in that Jambo few weeks back. Bottom line, Shelbys narrow escape from Freedom last week was no fluke.
Lol people should start playing a game on here, how long does it take to make a thread that has nothing to do with Shelby become a thread totally about Shelby

Forget Shelby. They want to be acknowledged as the greatest thing that God created since toilet paper...which incidentally that's about what they are worth.
Asheville has athletes. IMHO they just need a coach that knows a thing or two. Hiring in house isn't always the best choice. i.e. crests previous coach.
Erwin went from rags to britches...and are now back to rags...I don't know the coach, I don't know the athletes, I don't know the jv or or the middle school program...but if South Point can use a a bunch of talentless preppy frat boys and win! Then surely Erwin can use a bunch of liberal hippies and win too!
