2 D1 LB's on a little 2a school. Pretty impressive! Not sure if anyone in the county has had two at the same time. Crest maybe has can't remember?

Not much gap in age between Dwayne Maddox and Brandon Spikes but I can't remember if they saw time on the field together.

Congrats to Scott on the offers!

And, some forget about Will Stites. He's a heck of a player, has always been at every level of football. If he had the measurables, we'd be talking about three D1 linebackers. I'm not bragging, just stating a fact. Stites will play baseball on the next level, though.

Completely agree....all three are head hunters. Like I said somewhere else....it's gonna be really hard to score on us this year. I think Malik, DaDa, and the offense will put some points up but they're not gonna have to put up many because our defense is gonna be lights out!!

We were just having a nice conversation about our BIG linebackers.You probably remember them there the one's that held the mighty red raiders to I believe ZERO points.

All the best to Stites, Scott and Hollifield. Hopefully they combine for 100 tackles against the Mighty Red Raiders. Think about that until your brains hurt, lol!

Hurricane games don't count. I did meet Bud Foster at a convience store across from Shelby High. He had come to see Dax. Nice guy.

Wow Shelby continue to but kids in College. I think their location (between South Carolina and Charlotte makes it a perfect location for getting Athletes with size.

Um there are many schools between Charlotte and SC ..... don't think that's a factor jmho

I spoke on Shelby because this thread is talking about Shelby, and they are a 2A school putting out D1 talent. In 3A and 4A it's common to see kids go D1 regularly.

Hold Scotty to 200 yds passing and the rushing attack to 400 yds. That being said, Hollifield and Scott are very special athlete that Shelby seems to put out. However, covering the Raiders next year will be like following the pea under the cup. Which way did they go?

Either at your field or ours, I always take Shelby seriously. First I put my hand on my wallet and then my backside to a wall.
