In the 3rd round anything can happen. I understand the QB took a shot to the knee and didn't play 2nd half. Backup is a Freshman but capable replacement. The Pack are fairly young, very good speed, pretty big O line. Record doesn't reflect what they are capable of. 5 of their 6 loses were to 2nd round teams in 2a and 3a. Biggest flaws I see is predictability in play calling and a basic passing game, and dumb penalties. Yes, although not given much of a chance by most they will show up and give it their best shot. As with any game, anything can happen.

The loss of Gaffney on defense is much bigger loss IMO than at QB. Moss the backup is more than capable of running this offense. Does the pressure of starting with a large hostile crowd get to him , just have to wait and see. IMO kid is going to be a good one. Never know what can happen. I am sure MA is every bit as good as advertised. Remember in 2003 very much the same situation. Pack traveled to the mountains. No chance against a juggernaut in CD Owen Warhorses. Not saying that will happen this week, but stranger things have happened. They have nothing to lose, so being tight should not be a problem. Playing with house money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2013 lost to James Kenan 17-7 I believe in the 3rd round
2014 lost to Swain Co. 3rd round think the score was 35-24
2015 lost to you 10-6 1st round

They're always a very strong program. Actually very strong in pretty much every sport they play. When I worked in the East, it seemed like every time I had a team go deep into the playoffs, the subject of playing Whiteville at some point was always a possibility. They're almost always in the East for everything except football.

In 2013, Whiteville (and Princeton) had a really good team and really bad timing. JK went 15-0 and won the 1AA that season. In the playoffs, they beat Princeton 43-36 and then Whiteville 17-7 on back-to-back weeks, and then beat Wallace 28-14 for the regional title. The championship was a massacre.
