Crest is always a better team come playoff time. Expect a good game with the Chargers and Falcons next week.

It was truly comical, we play next week like we did tonight we get beat by 40 easy!
We gave up 40 to a 4 and 7 team, no excuse for it!
Crest had close to 700 yards of offense. Defense held East all time leading rusher to single digits in yards. 3 TO's for scores were crazy for east. Have to eliminate TO's and penalties to beat West.
Game 12 tonight and I would be willing to bet we average over a hundred yards a game in penalties, if it hasn't changed in 12 games it's not going to stop next week! We need the D to play huge and create turnovers and give the O some short fields next week!
That offense You Crest guys were worried about sure looked good last night. Seen some clips on the news. Looks like you have some very good receivers
We have the receivers, that hasn't been the problem. It's been giving the QB time to throw the ball. The defense is very good as well. The 40 is 90% due to the offense.
crest is well respected up here. Look forward to you guys coming up. Should be a good one. Looks like it will come down to which O-line can hold up against two good defensive fronts. I think our two teams are very similar
5 or more years ago this game would have been a clash of the titans.
This season it somewhat seems like a yawn. Big names both a shell of themselves in a weaker(than most years) 3A field.

I'm just glad to be here. While we may not be the team of 6 years ago I sure love watching these kids. They have been winners since youth football. May end next week and may not.
Sometimes it is hard to get it right after two weeks off. We were a little rusty at first as well
Plenty of parking. You can park in the grass right at the road In front of the school. Makes it easy to get out. There should be plenty of parking
I still think Crest is the favorite. I believe we can win but we must keep our offense on the field and keep Crest off. When our QB is on our passing game is very good. While i respect WR's program. I'm gonna call it like i see it. Crest will be playing a third round. Our defense will dominate the game. Our new found run game will open up the pass. WR will feel the pain like Concord ,Catholic,Asheville, and others .On the road in the playoffs is where we thrive.
Well Chopper, they still award a title to the best 3A team no matter how "weak" the field is. And 25 years from now when that trophy sits in the case at whichever school earns it, no one will remember how "weak" the field was. Try and think of it that way.

I can still remember in the 90s when WR was one of the bottom of the barrel teams in the area. Good 18 year plus stretch going on victories. I'm not routing for either team really just hope everyone is safe and plays their best. Should WR win and Hibriten win I see a barn burner rematch taking place from 6 years ago. Hibriten is not as good as that team from 2010 along with playing in a weak conference but I do believe they can hold their own.

My Falcons can win this game. I have not missed a game in years and I know these kids and have been watching them since youth football. While we have a decent record of 9-3 we have not played a complete football game yet this year. Some will say if a team
has not put it together by now they are not going to do it. I am looking for that complete game this week. I have felt it coming. We are basically healthy. I think we have one starter out and a few others banged up so that's not bad after 12 games.
We are a team with some flaws, We are young and small in some areas but we also have abundant potential. From what I hear from the blogs is that Crest is the complete team. We are not the team of the 4 consecutive state championship appearances with 3 titles but these kids can play ball and these coaches know how coach them.

Anyway bringing the topic back to the game and away from what I assume is chopper trying to overcome his micropeen. Which forces him to scurry around high school boards.
This should be a good matchup. Crest offense finally starting to show some life but the inconsistency of the team is still there. Don't know a lot about WR other than they played some good teams this year. Any good wins?

What makes this a crazy time of the year is that good teams all across the state are playing each other and there is no true way other than speculation to pick the favorites. Not many teams play common opponents. The conferences are so different it is hard to tell who would win or lose in another conference. It basically comes down to 3 things.
1. Coaching after the first round is 33%of the formula. Game plans that highlite your teams strength and exploit the weakness of the other is important.
2. Player execution verses player talent Meaning everything from turnovers, dropped passes, blown assignments and penalties to amazing catches, great tackles and heads up plays. All this is 33%
3. The other 33% is just good old luck. Who gets the tipped ball? Who gets the calls from the officials, who stays injury free? Who slips and falls and so on.
The team that gets 2 out of 3 of these wins.
