Can anyone shed some light on Roanoke Rapids and how they came to be a 5 seed at 10-1?

Lost to Bunn for the conference title. It is crazy for a 10-1 to be traveling to a 8-3 team.

I agree, but then I've already expressed how full of holes this new formula is.

And don't forget that had one game gone different last Friday, Roanoke Rapids would have had to visit us at South Granville (again), after beating South Granville in the regular season finale two weeks ago....because the two teams from the same conference are in different pods....my suggestion to tweak the playoff seeding with the new system is to keep on taking all 1s and everybody else is a wild card or at-large, but get rid of the pods....just do 16 East & 16 West (32 East & 32 West in other sports not subdivided into A & AA like the last two years)

I'm not sure either,but I know their schedule strength(or lack there of)is ranked 91 out of 98 2a schools according to Simmons
