I was a little worried when I heard the score as Brevard travels to North on Friday. We're you guys just a little flat or is North better than their record?
3-6 but you knew that.
Pisgah is 9-0 the only team in WNC with a perfect record.
Pisgah had an off night. I think they were still hungover from the Tuscola game. Saying that, sure Pisgah played bad against a bad team but they won. That's the difference between Pisgah and a lot of the other teams. They may have a bad night but they still get the win, where other teams would have been upset. They'll be fine but I think the Brevard game will be a shootout. They're a tough matchup for the Bears because of their passing attack, which I think is our main weakness.
Pisgah has a good record, not so sure they have a great team. The fact we actually gave y'all all you wanted is a little concerning
Just because Pisgah's offence isn't 40+ a game doesn't make em a bad team. If the other team can't score. They don't have to score a lot. It only takes one point to win. Not one Pisgah poster has said this was a great team. This team has more "want to" than teams we've had over the last few years.
When your leading by 2 or 3 TDS and the defense is playing well, Why would the offense use the whole playbook and put everything on film for the following opponents to see!! That has been the circumstances most of the year!! Use what's working and Win!!

You evidently don't remember the details of the game. Pisgah dominated the stats of the game, until that late Asheville drive. Pisgah also fumbled inside the AHS five once. Beating AHS for the first time in a few years was big for us and our confidence. No one knew that AHS would have a down year. All we needed to know was that you had beaten Franklin.

bigbear'10, You can win by one point if both teams score. The lowest winning score would be 2-0, not 1-0.

you know now that i have had a couple of weeks to think about it ...... i believe Tuscola had an off night against pisgah. only reason i can come up with? or could it be we were not as good as people thought ? nah that cant be true it has to be we had an OFF night !!!! lmao
If you have a off Night in front of 13,000 plus, against your county rival, get outscored 23 to 3 in the second half; get outgained 360 to 240 offensively, gain just 58 total yards in the 2nd half, I guess that qualifies as an off Night.

In hindsight that was a terrible pick but little did I know at the time how terrible we would be. This is the worst team we have had since 1987 and you guys beat us by 3 at your place in a game you ran the sleeper in. I stand by what I said, y'all have a great record, not sure if you have a great team.

I usually don't post anything but I figured I had to on this. It doesn't matter if pisgah is overrated or a juggernaut all that matters is they are undefeated and y'all are not. Enough said...
Funny thing is that I really haven't seen many Pisgah posters thumping their chests on here about how great we are. But we have beat the Mounties, the Cougars, the Panthers and all other 6 teams we have played. We had an off night and came away with a win. Better than having a loss. One thing I know for sure is that for about 3 weeks straight before the County Clash I listened to big mouthed Tuscola fans spout off about how they were unbeatable. I just kept my mouth shut. They were going hang 50 or more on our defense they said. Well, now your jealousy and frustration is rearing it's ugly head. Having a coach who embraces his community and his players and what is important to them rather than spouting about how great he is and is above all that goes a long way. Realistically Pisgah or Tuscola will always be a long shot to win a state championship in today's environment. But we do have the county championship and for that man to dismiss it the way he did was a slap in the face to both sides of the county.
I believe Cougar1 is a closet Bear fan. He's awfully worried about how good the Bears are/ are not.

I agree 90, all I heard from Tuscola fans was "we have more speed, we have better athletes, we have a line now, you won't be able to stop us, we will win by 30, blah, blah, blah". 'Course, I have been hearing that for 4 years....looks like Tuscola has had 4 off nights against us in a row, lol.
