i have to admit your right we held leota almost every play and the refs didnt call it. but im serious your qb isnt all that fast . but from what i saw hes a very strong runner. much better than he is throwing the ball. good luck to the cougars the rest of the way.
Hate to disagree with you. We don't have the talent across the board we usually have and getting sub par performances from the qb and rb don't help matters
hey its all good. im no coach anyway. im just throwin my opinions out there. and i feel your pain weve had our down years just like everybody does. its inevitable at the high school level.
Here we go with another idiot cougar fan. Maybe if you guys would stop getting drunk and high and set an actual example they would play up to your standard. Come on dude, calling it like it is doesn't make me an idiot, a drunk, or high or whatever else you want to say. When I say we are weak at rb it's not because I'm drunk, it's because our rb is a first year starter as a senior averaging 4.4 yards a carry. When I say we don't have any talent, it's not because I'm high, it's because this will literally be the worst team Asheville high has had since the mid 1980s.
There was a picture going around on the internet of one the starting cornerbacks at Asheville high at practice on his phone texting! At practice! Is that my fault? Or is the kind of indicative of where these guys heads are at? Asheville high will have more losses this season than we did from 2002-2005 COMBINED. Is that my fault? It's essentially the same coaching staff still there, so what exactly has changed? The players talent and motivation. I have nothing to do with it. I'll always pull for Asheville high as an alumni but right now our jv is one of the worst we have ever had, our varsity is coming off a season where we came in 3rd in the conference and didn't win a playoff game and are on pace to have possibly a losing record. Again, what exactly do you think a fan has to do with that? Set an example? Even if I were the biggest *** kisser homer there was and was out there helping the guys study and work on their footwork every day in practice, we would still not have a very good team. It's high school football, you have some good years and bad years, but for Asheville high you'd have to go back a long time to have 2 bad back to back seasons and that's what you're getting in 2015 and 2016. The coaches can only do so much with the talent coming up, especially when there are guys texting in practice!
