Bears 49 Tuscola 14 is my prediction. It would be a shut out but I think Tuscola will score twice on our back ups.

Actually scored 28. But that's besides the point, Madison had a Pisgah alum coaching them so we had to show them a little mercy. There will be no mercy shown to the West Haywood Hillbillies!!! The only drug I need is watching my Bears and let me tell you, it is one helluva drug!!!

True. I really wish Erwin played Pisgah. They are so close together and I have a lot friends and family from out that way.
I wish we did to.Understand the schedule for next year includes two Buncombe teams but not Erwin.
I don't know why they ended the series. It was getting good. Plus Erwin at least brings a good gate unlike your maroon counterparts.
We will trade you! I like playing local because you get bragging rights and all that. Driving 3 hrs to play a 6A school doesn't do much for your team in my opinion.
What two Buncombe County teams are you playing? Enka and Asheville School? If DP is making the schedule, he is a master of finding bad teams to play. He did it for years as the head coach/AD.
The same two teams we have played for years.Enka and North Buncombe
When DP was coach we played Erwin ,Reynolds ,East Rutheford

You need to get Owen back on the schedule once they improve.
We've played E. Rutherford too. They are one of the most up and down teams you'll see. It's not a good game, not a big draw, everybody is like "Who?" "Where?".

We played Reynolds in 2009,10,11,12.I know that you Waynesville guys have a hard time counting past ten but I figured you could get pass two?
Who was the mighty Mounties playing in those same years 2A Polk County and they beat you every one of those years.You played East Rutheford twice and split with them.

Actually its "past" not "pass" but I guess they quit teaching the English language at some point in grade school on the eastern side of the county.
I'm well aware we split with East RutheRford, which was kind of my point with the "up and down" comment.
Oh Polk, was actually 1A back then, and was being coached by the man, who until he left, was THE best coach in WNC and we should have hired way back when and that probably had a lot to do with it.
Maybe the worst part of the new conference for Tuscola, only three non conference games.

Wonder where they'll schedule the P/T game next year? Hopefully not early. Like it being in October.
It could be a good thing. I know the wrestling team started doing that and it may have helped them overall. It may unrelated, but Pisgah did finally get their first individual State Champion (Dillon O'Neill) after diversifying a bit more.
They will play Labor Day weekend.
Went to the Tuscola game ,.Don't believe they even had a third down til right at the end of the second quarter.Ferguson put up a lot of yards tonight.Smoky looked really bad for a undefeated team.Left at the half.
Holy crap did SM even show up? Every time I looked at scorestream the score had changed. Little respect for the Mounties. Very little tho.

Ferguson scores on the first play from scrimmage. Until Tuscola took their foot off the gas and ran him straight up the middle, Smoky could barely lay a hand on him. He wound up with 5TD's. A 6th got called back on an Illegal formation penalty. Tuscola punted once. Running clock the whole second half.
I knew Smoky was slow, d-line tipped several passes in the first half. In the second half Smoky received the kickoff and started throwing quick outs to the sideline and finally moved the ball.

Lots of 3 and outs. Tuscola scored quick and Smoky couldn't move. Mounties had one sustained drive the first half. Everything else was 1, 2, or 3 plays from scrimmage.
Brevard beating Franklin will wake them up against Pisgah next week. Going to be a fight. As if it already wasnt.
