When Catholic and Kannapolis come back to 3A

The conversations on that other site will be interesting too, especially with the Kannapolis crowd. Wonder if Shelby will put them back on the schedule.
I think that will depend entirely upon the configuration of the conference in which they are placed. If they go in an all 2A conference with Rutherford County or the Gaston/Lincoln schools, then 3 of their non-conference games will include Crest, KM, and Burns. If they are not in conference with SP, the Raiders will want to be that 4th game.
Hopefully Crest and Kannapolis can meet in the playoffs before CC does the Wonders in. Been waiting a while to see them and Crest play in a real game.
That would be sweet. I miss playing certain programs when it mattered or even at all. Not sure what the official realignment looks like. How did you guys do vs. Catholic? I'd love to play them also. We faced each other in round ball a few years back. I remember Catholic had some classic games against Brown, CC and West Rowan.

I would not judge them off of that one game. They were beat down physically by the end of the year and hanging on.
Hey CC - my memory is a little hazy...was thinking of playoffs thinking y'all had met up. Sorry.
We scrimmage every year. Came close to meeting in 2005, but Kannapolis went up to Mt Ulla and beat them in the 3rd round to advance to face CC for the first time in 3AA Regional Final at Keffer.
