This is a great year for 3AA West football!!!!! Glad to see the Crest Chargers and Concord Spiders being projected to be in AA along with a strong squad from the Mountains in ACR and the Cougs from Asheville always prove to be a tough out in November! Question? Anybody think a 3A team could give the 3AA big dogs a run? This year to me seems to be lining up for a true "pre" split era 3A state champ.
Damn GATA, where have you been? Spot on analysis except my Red Raiders could have been a thorn in some teams side.

Unless NCHSAA modifies their 20-30-30-20 plan to make 4A 1600 and above, South Iredell would remain 3A. Right now the cutoff between 3A and 4A will be around 1650.
Naw Sasha. Let those weasels keep playing that pathetic non conference schedule they have played. 1A and 2A teams with 4A numbers. You should see the schedule for the wrestling team as well and then they can't even get into the playoffs. Congrats on wins the past few years over Starmount (1A) and the North Rowans (2A) with less than half the ADM. Oh that's right South Iredell loss to North Rowan last year.
