Duke steps up the exhibition schedule and plays Bobby Hurley squad. To my knowledge this will be the first return to Cameron for Hurley. I’m pretty excited to see some live D1 action for Duke a little early!

Should be interesting. They seem like they are athletic. Was Hurley there for coach K's last game?

Defense looks good . Every player who has hit the court has defended good .

Like said above but Arizona St is also playing good defense .
Good experience for this young team because teams will play them tough like this .

Obviously very early, we’ll the season hasn’t even started 😬, but when it gets down to the serious business, a couple of these 11 won’t see much burn if any.

Right now I’d guess Evans is definitely one of them.

Well it’ll be 3 if Pat gets healthy.

We have legit defense around the basket for a change..and rebounding. Hopefully that shows in the regular season. A well balanced team it seems, lots of players can contribute if someone is having an off night.

Kon 17 points Foster 15 points Sion 13 points Cooper 9 points. Proctor 10 points Mal 8 points and 12 rebounds..Harris and Gillis 10 points, Evans 5 points.
Sounds like it was a massacre. We out-rebounded them by 16.
103-47.
If the pieces fit, and today they certainly did, this team should contend for a one seed.

Kon can shoot and play . I really think Jon has to go no less than nine deep. This team can be scary good defensively.
Yes on the first part. Trying not to judge too quick, but looks like Kon has the ‘it’ factor.
I’m not sure 9 can play good minutes, unless they curb stomp most of their opponents.

I really liked the ball movement with all the extra passes being made. Mal is going to be really good as the season progresses. Looks like Evans and Harris might be the two that play the least minutes. It was an impressive shooting exhibition the second half.

It's still early, and I don't want the hype to get ahead of itself, but the way we go a legit 10 deep reminds me of the 98/99 teams. When your 9th and 10th guys are Evans and Harris; that is impressive. I think we go 10 deep. Not every game, but I think Harris and Evans will get some minutes. And this seems like the type of team who could dominate, so that will lead to more bench minutes.

And we don't even have Pat yet.

Corey Alexander was saying how good a shooter Foster is and for Kon to be considered better is scary. I think Foster is going to have a great year as point guard.

I really think he has no choice or we definitely loose Harris and Evans . I’m not saying ten minutes a piece but three or four is very easy .
The second half Arizona st was gassed . We basically ran them the entire first half .

Injuries will occur, so you have to see how deep that bench can go. Unlike last year's team, Duke does not need a honeymoon period. The two exhibition games could've been non - conference games. The coaching staff know what they have.

Chris I would like to see us go 10 deep, and run opposing teams into the ground!! OFC

Will it happen ? Who knows but there are a lot of weapons on the bench .

Like stated, if your 7’ is getting on the floor for a loose ball you better bring it because that says a lot for this team and their goals. It’s just scary how good this defense can become between now and February.
