I like McCain, but I prefer we find a way for Flip to be our 4th wing. The team is still playing hard. Go DUKE!

being abused in the paint and in the boards. Jon will adapt and adjust, or be in for a mediocre season…

Gotta get Stewart ready fast. He is our best chance to fill that missing piece. Best athlete on the floor at 6’9. To be fair i can tell he needs direction on the floor but gotta get him ready.

It’s a terrific college basketball game. Seriously has a national championship feel to it. Back and forth. Up and down.

I like Duke.

Terrible offense rears its ugly head again. This team was supposed to be better. Besides flip, I wouldn’t say anyone looks like they’ve improved. I expected more out of proctor too

I’m blown away in that Jon refuses to put Kyle at the 4. Looks like he feels “NBA ball” will win these tough college games?

Duke will need a front court . Small ball will not work as a hey are being out rebounded .
I am optimistic changes will be made in time. I think Stewart can be the difference but he may not be ready yet to start and have extended minutes. Small ball will work some nights but i am excited to see

Flip
Stewart
Mitchell
And a combination of any of the guards.

Thats 7’0, 6’9, 6’9 in the front court and our most athletic one.

Young just isnt going to cut it except for limited minutes to give breathers

Reeves remains to be seen. He still a step slow and not the most athletic.

You’re not going to play flip Mitchell and Stewart at the same time - it still keeps flip at the 5, without freeing him up
To the 4.

Reeves had a solid time but now sits. It’s perplexing.

Is Flip not playing the 5 the most pressing issue? I don’t think that is the cause of the rebounding and lack of defense in the paint issues.

It (flip playing the 5) absolutely is the issue. They need a big body for him to play around.

Good game boys.

Ps if I’m Reeves I’m transferring. While he’s not an All-American, the kid would start for 60% of d1 teams.
