Jae'lyn withers vs AJ Griffin

OK Gents, who has more value/upside to their team, Withers or Griffin? Duke is loaded and UL is not.

Withers probably has more value to Louisville, but AJ has more upside to me. He had 10 points off the bench yesterday, coming off an injury, although the opponent was overmatched. If Griffin can give us 10 points per game off the bench and defense that solves our depth issue. AJ and Theo John gives us 7 starter level guys.

Is there a reason why a Syracuse fan is interested in the comparative value of Duke player vs a Louisville player? Why not ask who is more important to their team -- Buddy or AJ? Wait... I think it's Buddy. And FWIW, I like Buddy as a player, except when he plays Duke.

@LTDukeFan , I am an Orange fan and an ACC fan. But the purpose of this discussion is for our ACC fantasy league draft. I always come to this forum for general Duke/ACC information. I feel that this board has some of the smartest guys, forum wise. We are going to draft a forward second round. I am torn between Withers and Griffin. Also, I would take DeVoe or Wong over Buddy any day! 3 Duke guys(Banchero, Williams, and Moore) should go in the top 10. And I am keeping Keels as my ace in the hole.

I had always hated Duke. Until SU moved to the ACC. Now, I follow Duke and the conference closely. And, every year we have had a Duke player on our roster, we did very well!

Cool. I think he is under the radar as far as guards go. We'll try to grab him as our second guard - behind DeVoe.

Keels and Theo John have been better than we thought, although we haven't played anyone. I could be way off but my eye test so far is that we are way, way better than last year. We are certainly tougher. I am very excited to have AJ Griffin back already. Our 4 new guys (3 freshman and Theo) have brought talent and toughness that reminds me of when Brand and Battier got here.

We didn't get Withers or Griffin. Or Keels. However, we did get Mark Williams in the second round. Wong was our 1st pick at #4. Banchero went #1.
