If it's his tibia, he's definitely out. I heard fibula. He could theoretically pitch with a small fracture in the fibula with tape and a shot like my hero Jack Youngblood for the Rams in the late 70s
I thought before Morton went out the Braves needed to split in Houston and go back to Atlanta 1-1 to have a shot. I think they have to win both games in Houston now. I just don't know if they can do it 1-1 and definitely not down 0-2.
Minter pitched great again. 2.2 innings of relief. One run allowed. Probably zero if not for the Swanson error. Odorizzi is fabulous in relief for the Astros.
I'm honestly not sure which it is, but they said he is definitely out for the season but should be back for spring training

Think I went to my first game in 1980. I still remember like it was yesterday. We were down 3 in the bottom of the 9th with two outs and the bases loaded. Bruce Benedict batting. drove one to straight away center that the center fielder caught up against the wall.
It's going to be tough but we can do this. Game 2 may be the biggest game in Braves history.
This is going to be an uphill battle that is libel to give me a coronary. If we get Mad MAX tomorrow I like our chances in ATL.

Need Fried to show up big time tonight. Give them 6 or even 7 innings. Hopefully the same thing with Anderson. Game 4 was going to be a bullpen game anyway. If those 2 guys can give you that then you are in much better shape for game 4. Would be nice to not need Minter till game 4 and let him start that one. Give you 3 innings then hand it off.
Game 5 is where it would get tricky. This would be Charlie's normal spot. I know this sounds crazy, but I would love to see Spencer Strider start game 5. Let's feed the Astros some 101 MPH fastballs along with his slider.
Of course, it wouldn't hurt my feelings for there not to be a game 5.
