***DUKE VS NC STATE OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Gosh. I really loathe the woofies

[LONMUNU]

Well if that didn’t just top off an ugly *** half.

[BlueDaveil]

Of course he hits that garbage

[Fourteen44]

You are such an Internet tough guy...You just can’t move along can you?

Tough guy? Who quoted Tombstone? Wow, you’re a quick one lol.

[HeLooks2MuchLikeDave]

Not happening tonight. My goodness

[tripleb71]

Lawd....

[DukeDenver]

Welp...

[DukeCE2006]

Greenberg calling the game was an omen.

[Fourteen44]

It’s their national title game. It’s that simple.

[duhondukie]

Our staff even looks shocked. I don’t know that anyone got off the bench for anything the entire half. Terrible showing thus far.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

Why am I not surprised that shot went in with how bad the first half went for us.

[K-oach Q]

Tough guy? Who quoted Tombstone? Wow, you’re a quick one lol.

Man you have an obsession...would you like my phone number and some pictures?

[HuffyJB]

You have to assume that the number one priority for Duke was containing NCSU's guards, and they both have more than their season averages by halftime. So that's not great.

[Showenuff]

this team is undefeated at NCSU

currently.

[Fourteen44]

The challenge is Dukes ultimate weakness being exposed: post and pick/roll D. They need to mix it up ASAP.

[LONMUNU]

Everyone deserves to be benched after that half.

[Fourteen44]

Man you have an obsession...would you like my phone number and some pictures?

Let’s not get weird now. Your negativity will suffice. It makes you an easy target.

[retiredsoldier]

Why am I not surprised that shot went in with how bad the first half went for us.

I just said that's the way they shot the whole half. I'm hoping it's our turn for the next 20 min. They just didn't look right from the first offensive possession to me. Still think we will adjust and pull this out.

[Blueline Devil]

We got our work cut out for us. Was really hoping to get it to single digits by the half then that crap at the end of the half. First 5 min. will be crucial.

Let's go Duke!!!!!!!!!

[wcu1113]

It’s their national title game. It’s that simple.

Yep. They’ll probably lose their next four games after tonight.

[Kingbluedevil]

That last play is unacceptable. Our guys going to the locker room giving up a uncontested three. I will agree with K something has to be done with college basketball. The talent level has really dropped.

[DukeDenver]

We are out of sync. We need some coaching magic to get this comeback started. A Stanley usually gets us going. Let’s get some steals and dunks.

[K-oach Q]

That game needed Coach K in the first four minutes..he let them go and they where a complete train wreck. Not saying it would of made a difference but the fact that everyone could see it and he didn’t even try to make a difference was disappointing.

[OldasdirtDevil]

That beyond half court 3 hurt. Still, Duke is more than capable of making up that much difference if we can catch a little mo. State hits some adversity and they'll fall apart like a cheap suit. Let's do it, Duke!

[germantondevil]

Duke played way to much one on one.

[skysdad]

Wow. Hits a three behind half court. Got to hand it to State they are wearing our fannies out in all aspects of the game. Just seem out of sinc. What does Coach K say at half time? OFC

[PixelDevil]

well, at least none of us are surprised.

[sheyduke]

Ugly game Dukes biggest deficient of the year comes at state? Does this team just not get up to play against unranked opponents

[Mac9192]

State just outplayed us. They got the tempo they wanted, and we played hurried up. 8 turnovers, and Vernon and Tre were bad. You’re more than likely going to be down if your 2 best players missed 12 shots in 1 half.
Is anyone surprised that State came to play?

[duhondukie]

How in the word did nobody in blue try and stop the ball on the half court shot. We had 4 guys running away from it.

[sheyduke]

Man I would not want to be in that locker room at half

Why it didn’t help against SFA or Clemson. This team I just don’t get and K went ten deep.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

I just said that's the way they shot the whole half. I'm hoping it's our turn for the next 20 min. They just didn't look right from the first offensive possession to me. Still think we will adjust and pull this out.

Yeah I think if we can cut the lead at least in half in the first 5 minutes of the second half then I think we’ll win

[OldasdirtDevil]

Whatever it is, it won't be family friendly.

OFC

[Kingbluedevil]

One thing going for us is it is nc state and they will go out of their way to lose.

[wcu1113]

Why it didn’t help against SFA or Clemson. This team I just don’t get and K went ten deep.

College basketball nowadays, IYAM. It has changed for the worse.

[K-oach Q]

We will make a run...question will be if we can sustain it being down fifteen instead of six or seven is huge on the road.

[sheyduke]

Duke looked sloppy on to many plays almost flat footed. State will come out hard the second half.

How this team responds will tell a lot.

[LONMUNU]

They need some red bull or something at half. Anything that gets them starting this half with any bit of energy or fire.

[JohnstonCDevil]

Let's play with fire in our eyes. Make an early run and get back in the game!!!

[LONMUNU]

Shooting like 20 percent from the free throw line
