I just saw that we dropped to #8 in the AP Poll today which I must say surprised me a little bit because I was thinking that we would probably drop down to somewhere between #10-#12 after losing both of our games last week

Yeah I’m good with ya dropping to #8 especially considering we dropped from #1 to #10 after the loss to SFA, so dropping from #3 to #8 after losing both games last week is nothing to complain about.

Yeah I saw on one of the other college basketball message boards where someone mentioned that besides Duke 2 other top 10 teams also lost 2 games last week. I believe it was Auburn and Butler. It’s not too often that 3 different teams all lose 2 games in the same week.

All we can do from here is hope that this past week was the low point of the season. The 2015 team went through the exact same thing at just about this exact same time of year. I think we can turn it around, just got some kinks to figure out.
1. Is Alex a lost cause at this point?? If Alex can't give us anything than I feel like we are gonna have to rely on Goldwire a bit too much and not sure he should be playing any more than 15-20 ppg. Is Javin a lost cause as well?
2. We need Tre and Vernon to both be consistent All-American type players and not up-and-down between being bad and good.
3. When Wendell comes back, how much do we rely on him? Don't get me wrong, I think we need what he has to offer (athleticism, perimeter defense) but just a month ago he was almost unplayable against sub-par competition. I don't think he's gonna be a savior or anything, but he definitely can help us out.
