***DUKE VS GEORGIA STATE OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

[dbav]

By conference play, Vernon is going to be a big problem for everyone else.

[PixelDevil]

4 fouls for Javin already? Jesus man

[CRAZIE4LIFE]

Man this is terrible

[acc hoops]

Terrible half court offense and defense by Duke.

[pisgah101]

Boy oh boy

[Buzzooka Joe]

How many minutes has Javin played to get those 4 fouls?

[dukesince91]

We need to hit a reset button. Halftime can't come soon enough.

[PixelDevil]

So if it wasn't clear already, Tre Jones is gonna be the guy this year.

[dbav]

Tre is becoming a star.

[Louisville Crazie]

I’m surprised we aren’t seeing more hurt with Georgia state playing so much zone.

[Buzzooka Joe]

Times like this is when I wish Bolden would have stayed

[dukesince91]

Jack White is hustling his a$$ off.

[nets on nets on nets]

Goldwire probably shouldn’t be on the floor if they are in a zone.

[LetsGoDuke301]

ACCN is garbage

[CRAZIE4LIFE]

How many minutes has Javin played to get those 4 fouls?

I know, I told my wife I havent even noticed him on the court.

[JohnstonCDevil]

It's a good thing that Tre and Carey came to play, because it doesn't seem like anybody else did.

[acc hoops]

ACCN still has women’s soccer game on.25 people in the stands.

[dbav]

Let's get a strong few minutes to close out the half.

I thought it was field hockey

[Louisville Crazie]

Georgia State’s tempo is causing some issues. The turnovers aren’t helping either.

[dbav]

We've got to adjust to the way the refs are calling this.

[CRAZIE4LIFE]

Is this going to be our Evansville

[BillyWolfpacker]

We've got to adjust to the way the refs are calling this.

Not sure how you adjust to that. They're grabbing our arms multiple times per possession

[LONMUNU]

It’s amazing how bad everyone not named jones and Carey have been. White at least played hard. Did javin have more fouls than minutes? Let’s throw this half in the trash and start over in the second lol.

[dbav]

They're letting them play. Gotta be ready to be physical. Carey is showing good strength. Need guys like Stanley to do so as well.

[PixelDevil]

Carey with the near double double in the first half. Baker with the good defense as well. Tre looking phenomenal. There are some positives from this half, just wish this game wasn't as close as it is right now. But I fully expect us to make the adjustments and blow them out int he second. This one won't be close.

[dukesince91]

So glad Tre came back to run this team.

[Louisville Crazie]

Good hustle by Hurt, hopefully that gets him going. Going into the half, turnovers need to be addressed. Georgia State has taken advantage of our mistakes and they are playing hard and fast with no back down. Tre has been shining bright though.

[retiredsoldier]

I figure a good old fashioned butt chewing, be a heck of a lot stronger with the ball, especially inside the paint, and focus on getting back on D, game over!

[JohnstonCDevil]

Stanley and Moore have not looked good at all. They both act like they are fighting a fire. Everything is done in a rush. They need to slow down. Tre has been something special tonight. He needs some help in the 2nd half for us to take over this game!!!

[Austinduke]

What garbage ACC network is whole half missed for this!

[chov1125]

This team needs nothing other than a good ole fashioned *** chewing this halftime. Don’t blame the refs. Come out this half, be strong, be energetic and play with a focus....and we win this game by 20+.

[pisgah101]

Didn’t they show this brotherhood tour already?

[OldasdirtDevil]

Whew...I'd hate to be in that Duke locker room! K is going to ravage 'em! We'll be okay.

4 fouls for Javin already? Jesus man

I would have loved to had been a fly on the wall when Jav got his NBA feedback

[skysdad]

Who else thinks the ACCNETWORK SUCKS! We actually missed the whole 1st half because of a volleyball game. I don't even know who to complain to but it's affected 2 of our games so far. All I heard was how great this ACCNETWORK was going to be. What a crock we were sold. OFC

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

I know, I told my wife I havent even noticed him on the court.

That’s what confused me because I barely even remember seeing him in the game so I don’t see how he’s already got 4 fouls.

[BillyWolfpacker]

What garbage ACC network is whole half missed for this!

Completely inexcusable. Just wow

Also, refs tend to respect K more in the second half. We got fouled like 20 times in the first

[Friction.]

Too many 3’s - let Vern dominate these guys on the block to open everything up

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Volleyball game finally ended. Missed the whole first half
