OT: Pelicans vs Hawks

The Pelicans and Hawks play tonight in a preseason opener on NBATV at 7:30. Between the 2 teams they have 7 former Blue Devils. The Pelicans have JJ Redick, Brandon Ingram, Jahlil Okafor, Frank Jackson and Zion Williamson. The Hawks have Jabari Parker and Cam Reddish. It appears that Cam dealt with various injuries throughout his time at Duke because according to an article that I read he had abdominal surgery over the summer and played with multiple broken ribs and s toe injury while he was at Duke.

Found this posted on Duke Men’s Basketball’s Facebook page. Tonight Zion was asked/talked into singing along to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and he had quite a bit of trouble getting started while trying to find the lyrics on his phone because he didn’t know the lyrics then when he started singing it wasn’t pretty. lol
