Duke, MSU, and UNC. It will come down to us and MSU, and with Miami and UK out, that should eliminate any last minute surprises. If we can land Carey and Stewart ends up at MSU then UK & UNC gets shafted on the top 3 big men in Carey, Wiseman and Stewart.

Armando Bacot, who is heading to UNC, is a very nice player. He'll be a decent player for a few years probably. I'd love for him to be OAD, and it could happen, but I bet he's there for 2 years.
Bacot is a 4 year player, especially at UNC under Roy.

roy already giving little the dean smith/4 yr plan treatment. why would any high schooler who has ambitions of getting the league as soon as they can (due to the silly rule that says you can't go after high school) want to go to unc and delay that process.
Let me first start off my saying I know very very little when it comes to recruiting, who has the edge in a recruit, who is relieable recruiting insiders wise etc.... but this tweet peaked my interest a little.

Recruits definitely talk. It was only 10 to 12 years ago when we were dealing with some of the same things. As much as we can say it didn’t bother or affect us, that’s wrong. Perception isn’t always reality, but it is sometimes. UNC has a perception right now, and it’s not a good one. I’m fine with that.
And to be honest, as the old saying goes, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. If you look at UNC’s recent history, I wouldn’t make drastic changes either. We have been successful, so have they. You can win at the college level bringing in immediate talent, you can also win developing it.
I’m not implying you feel otherwise, just adding to your point. I have a feeling Roy is comfortable with his philosophies and won’t be rattled by outside perception.

Maybe Anthony ends up at Georgetown or Oregon. He just got back from an OV there and it supposedly went well. Could see daddy sending his son to Georgetown or Oregon. Think UNC is losing it’s clear lead for Anthony. Have a feeling White stays at least 2 years and don’t see Anthony wanting to go compete for the spot.
Exactly! That’s why certain Duke fans get on my nerves with they way they attack our players on social media and say they don’t want too much talent when, as you’ve stated, we used to have issues getting elite talent 10-12 years ago because of our perception on the recruiting trail. Danny Green’s nuts in Greg Paulus’ face was exactly how it felt when other schools were cool and landing NBA level talent. Now we’re that school and UNC is struggling to get talent but could be on the rise and yet some of our fans act as if we will continue to get elite level talent every season.

I want both. But personally I would choose Carey because he has the "potential" to be a OAD superstar, however there are questions about his defense.
Stewart won't dominate college basketball next year, he should be a solid big-man who plays good defense and rebounds.
If everyone leaves for the NBA like we assume, we need a superstar next year.
I also feel Carey blends better with Bolden than Stewart does, Carey has more perimeter skills than Stewart. Stewart is a 5 man, can't really play with Bolden.
That’s such an all over the place list. Curious how some kids make they’re decisions. To each their own and I’d never question a kid for playing where he wants but Miami? Oregon? Wake? Why?
Miami Florida? You would question why an 18 year old would want to play in Miami?
I mean if he’s serious about basketball. Yeah. If he’s looking to party and bottle pop then no.
