***DUKE VS EASTERN MICHIGAN OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

[denverexpat]

In other news....villanova is getting beat by Michigan...by 30!!!!!

[hallside]

This is the best half of DUKE basketball I have ever seen. Wow. Defend. Hustle. Win.

[JohnstonCDevil]

I do believe we realized we didn't play hard against Army. Now EMU is paying for it!!!
OFC

[retiredsoldier]

Yes, no missed high fives yet lol.

Duke got up by Michigan 34-2 back in in believe 2001. That was a fun half of basketball

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Impressed with the D so far also

But, so many dunks! Haha.

[meisperplexed]

Mike G. with the Kris Lang glamor shot?!!

[Mpm277]

We let them score double digits in the first half. They better get a talkin to during halftime.

[Mpm277]

You have to be able to run a 4 minute mile to be a Duke manager.

[hallside]

Diving on the floor has become contagious! Coach K has the #1,#2, and #3 picks in next years draft throwing themselves at loose balls. This team is impossible not to love as a Duke fan.

[JohnstonCDevil]

Very STRONG first half!!!

I was just saying this to my buddy. Unreal half

[Duke1783]

But, so many dunks! Haha.

The problem with watching Duke is that it makes every other game look like a pillow fight

[Kingbluedevil]

I think Cam is going to be a really good NBA player. He comes up with a lot of loose balls

[Mpm277]

Eastern Michigan really has Army to thank for this.

[TheDude1]

How is RJ's attitude?.....asking for a friend

Actually, to defend him, GMan did say they had an interesting talk with K about communication, and body language on the court came up, that coach talked to the team about it. I don’t think our friend was the only one who noticed RJ being agitated out there.

[pisgah101]

Man what a half!!! We rolling today. D looks great.

[dukesince91]

I guess I'll be that guy. We had a lot of poor cross court passes.
Should have scored 60. Before somebody cusses me out like that first time poster today, I'm just kidding (a little)

[Mpm277]

Seriously, if you're EM head coach, what do you tell them at the half?

[QC Dukie]

How is RJ's attitude?.....asking for a friend

Hahahaha

[smashmouth5]

How do you keep this team from scoring in the 90's night after night. And it looks effortless.

[QC Dukie]

YO QC!!!

I see ya

[Bludvls1]

Scoring in the paint at will.

They better get Will out of the game ASAP.

[Buzzooka Joe]

No

I didn’t think so.. but they have Eastern Michigan as 3-0.. 2 of those wins were non Division 1 teams.

[Showenuff]

Not much effort vs Army....answered.

[dukesince91]

Love watching the highlights of the U.K. game. Do you think they will show that throughout the whole season?

[skysdad]

Nice to see Jav having a good game. Great defense. 11 players saw the floor 1st. half. Only thing to note about is our free throw shooting. We shot the same percentage from the arc as from the free throw line which is not so good. Got to do something about that or it will come back to bite us. Will Coach K show mercy. I hope not until the last 3 or 4 minute mark and clear the bench. Who knows maybe Jav put up a double double. OFC.

[Showenuff]

My daughter just showed me a pic of Grayson’s girlfriend in a bikini. Holy $#/t.

Ummm can you post it??

[Showenuff]

We wanted to see more effort. Check. Jav to play better. Check. Zone penetration. Check. All I can reach for is fts, we suck at the stripe.

[DeepColor]

Would be nice to see a few more 3’s fall.

[skysdad]

MOTHER OF GOD ZION.

Remember Show that you and I helped recruit him. I gave his dad and him a thumbs up at CTC. OFC

Don’t quit lol

We'd be winning 60-9 if it wasn't for some of those weird passes. They were excited and trying to stomp on the gas. I think in a closer game, those don't happen.

My daughter just showed me a pic of Grayson’s girlfriend in a bikini. Holy $#/t.

I’ve seen that picture and I echo your response

[Mac9192]

Eastern Michigan didn’t even come out and warm up before the 2nd half started.
I think their bus wouldn’t start.

Is that when you got the silent verbal?
