Love and respect each and everyone of you who served. Sounds like we have a bunch of Viet Nam vets out there. I am of that generation but did not serve because of a very serious ankle injury. My lottery # was 7 but when I went down to register they took one look at my medical records and said I was physically unfit. Had a bunch of friends go to Nam. Just about all came home but it took years for them to get the appreciation they all earned. My dad served in WWII though. He didn't see action but cared for the wounded in the South Pacific at a hospital while stationed in Sidney, Australia. Proud of him. OFC

Thanks to all who have served. Never served myself. My son is in JROTC. It is his favorite class and thing in school. His group does lots of community service and they March in all of the parades. Last year they marched in dbavs hometown. Lots of WWII boys there. Very moving.
