Kansas City! The greatest city in the world!

But grew up in southern Missouri, not great, at all.

split time between Davidson county and mountains. Wilkes county is my legal residence. Always been a blue devil amongst countless Tarhole fans.

Staunton, VA. Originally from Toledo, OH

I used to drive through there all the time on my way back and forth from Duke.

Born and raised in Port Jervis, New York. I've been back for over 9 years now and happy to call it home.

Dick Groat, Jeff Capel, 1st/2nd round games of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Pittsburgh has been fairly nice to Duke. I'm starting to really like Pitt, too.

A staple of offseason threads. Surprised we haven’t had it yet! I live in Canton NC which is right passed Asheville.

How is the factory smell in Canton these days? Could hardly stand it in the 90's. Only stop by exit 31 nowadays if I'm looking for a quick bite from Dairy Queen or Burger King... Pisgah had some really talented football teams in the 90's. Didn't play myself, but I saw them crush my brothers several times.

Edit: If you all want to see a small town get into football, go see a Pisgah/Tuscola game. The turnout is insane. Some have estimated 15,000+ fans for these games.

Not nearly as bad! I didn’t realize you were this ways and yes the Pisgah Tuscola game is one of a kind. We’ve won 4 straight too :p

Yep. Went to TC Roberson, same school as Ole Roy... I followed WNC High School Football through most of the 90's and the early part of the 2000's.. Hard to keep up with it anymore. In the 90's the hot teams to follow were Asheville, Reynolds, Pisgah, Tuscola, and Swain. I don't follow it very closely anymore, but I feel like the top teams haven't changed a whole lot.

Not sure when you were thru, but hopefully you had a chance to spend a little time in the historic downtown area. Just off 81 has been built up quite a bit in the last several years, but the downtown area has been kept pristine and is what makes this place so special.
