Ever since Jim "sissy britches baby girl" Boeheim's jacket jerking tantrum at Duke I have taken great joy in watching Syracuse lose.

Keeping their team to lowest scoring of the season - GRAVY.

Two ways to beat the zone - shoot over it (didn't work) - Pass behind it (all freaking day long).

I voted for Bolden. I thought he was really good tonight and had at least 3 or 4 deflections on defense!

Carter and Bagley had good games, but I gave the game ball to Bolden, if he stays healthy and plays this way the rest of the year & returns next year to man the post. I will be happy as hell!!!

I went with Wendell. Bolden was a close second, what he did in just 12 minutes was darn impressive.

Bags,just because he's back...that will end all the back and forth if we are better with or with out him {or will it}

Bolden. Kid played his tough inside game and contributed w/7 pts, 6 bds. Didnt let fact "Bags" was back affect his mindset he might lose a little PT. Shows real maturity.

Small sample-size, but Bolden's PT and production trended above his season averages in Bags' absence, and stayed there in one game w/ Bags back. Whether due to confidence, reps, health, or some combination thereof, it would be really great to see his play warrant this expanded role moving forward. The viable option of keeping 2 bigs on the floor while Bags or Wendell gets a breather could be huge.

His ceiling is higher, but right now Quis is looking up at Zoubs' example. Prior to the 2nd half of his senior year (and consistent health), Zoubs still had a few solid performances, but they were determined more by match-ups than by "controlling his own destiny." Quis could be -- optimistically, could be -- on the verge of becoming a consistent, reliable contributor based on his own development, rather than match-up. That's encouraging, exciting progress.

I was on a cruise ship watching this in the bar with one other guy who happened to be a Syracuse fan. When Boeheim threw the jacket, the guy got up and walked out. Good times.

I read that as "'Cuse 'ship," like you were confessing some shameful connection to it. lol

That incident is part of what I like about Boeheim. He totally lost it, then later talked about it w/ such dry understatement (hypOberle?), which showed some tongue-in-cheek self-deprecation I just found so nuanced and hilarious.

His development will make a huge difference in how good we will be next year.

But we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Didn't see the game. But went with Carter based on a full stat sheet.

Great win. Couldn't buy a shot outside of the 15+ dunks but must be saving them for UNC.

I watched some of Syracuse earlier this year and forgot how awful they are offensively. Duke's zone was good though. Just surprised how bad Cuse is offensively.

Overall, good to see them win a low scoring affair. 12-4 with VT and UNC to close the season out - in a great position for a 1 seed.

This is the year to win another championship. No dominant team and I feel as if only MSU can match up talent wise with Duke.

Improved play by Bolden, Javin, and Jack really bodes well for us finishing out this year and for next year. The physicality of our rebounding last night was really impressive. The recent stretch where we lost 3 of 4, we were getting pushed around a little. Looks like Wendell, Javin, Bolden, and Jack have said: "F" that noise!

Wendell gets my game ball for this one. He was just dominant, and played like a man possessed. Really showed how versatile he is with blocks, steals, assists, and running the floor, not to account for his shooting touch.
Go Duke!

Love the play of Bolden, Javin and White. Bolden is so damn big and strong. When he threw down that dunk I got fired up. I enjoy seeing the bench developing and involved. White too could be a more athletic mini Luke May w/ an off season working on his offense. Plays his *** off and is very strong for a wing. Having these guys soak up minutes is fantastic. Keeps Carter and Bags fresh which helps the defense and FT shooting.
