This team just seems to sometimes self destruct.
Allen misses layup, Duval has a terrible turnover under their basket, Carter misses layup and then Allen has bad turnover leading to a layup. Up 46-40 they just relax instead of playing smart to break the game open.

I’m not a huge fan of the zone...but man does it at least keep us in games...we at least get some stops...so it’s a lot better than what’s been happening in Man 2 Man

Does this sound make our defense a lot a lot better. Switching to zone may have just gave us a very good chance at winning the title. Teams habe stuffled shooting against us since we went to zone. Teams driving into paint shots are being challenged. Looks like the Michigan state game all over again.

Honestly like what I’m seeing so far. We have had so many stretches where we can’t score or have a bad offensive possession where this team would typically lose focus on defense. Instead we are buckling down, talking and out efforting them. Love what Duval has done today, he’s playing great defense and hustling all the time. They’ve obviously adjusted to try to shut down Grayson in this half but hopefully he gets going a little bit and we should be fine.

Yeah, Clemson needed to make this game ugly...and they've succeeded...but our guys have shown the toughness it takes (so far) to hang in there against this physicality on the road.

This team is so good on the offensive side, even just a few more stops makes a HUGE difference and the zone does that. Definitly makes them take tougher % shots.
