How lucky can one team be? Norte Dame doesn’t score but 2 pts in last 4 minutes, has a crucial charge call go against them wiping out a basket, UNC gets possession on tie up down ,Berry catches airball shot & gets fouled making both shots for 1pt lead.
With 7 seconds to go Irish drive to the basket miss layup and easy tip-in rims out.
Roy must be from that Irish clan that settled in NC mountains.

It was scoring 2 points in the last 4 minutes that done the Irish in. Nothing to do with unc getting the breaks other than they showed more poise and created those situations. OFC
That'll happen when ND is without their two best players and senior leader. Still a trash foul call to send Berry to the line and then Gibbs got hit on the tip in attempt. UNC no doubt would've gotten that call

Berry was definitely fouled, but so was Gibbs.

Notre Dame didn’t have a FG the last six minutes. Very seldom does a team win when you’re that ridiculously inefficient.

I will say one thing, though....kudos to Mike Brey and his team. They have no business being 3-2 in the league with their two best players sidelined (one of them being an All-American), and you can make the argument they should be 4-1 after kind of gifting the Heels one tonight.

I thought the foul on ND center after he turned after setting screen and UNC player fell to floor was a bad call. It wasn’t a moving screen but just incidental contact. Of course I was rooting for the Catholics.

No doubt. Pretty amazing to me What they are doing. If they had their other two guys, they definitely finish high in the ACC. I would say second.

Yeah Johnson clearly hooked his arm. Plus Jamie Luckie's miss of the block/call charge that took away an Irish basket factored in as well. Still they should have made the 66-60 lead stand up.

Nonetheless Carolina didnt show me much at all today, and Brey's halftime adjustments locked up Luke 2nd half. Color UNC very "LUCKIE" to win without Notre Dame's two best players. If either Colson or Farrell were healthy today 'holes lose. OFC

Agreed. UNC loses by double digits if ND is at full strength

They get Farrell back on Tuesday I believe. I always root for ND since Brey is in the 1K coaching tree. You think they can get to 9-9 (should be enough to make the tourney). Apparently Bonzie could be back for their last 2 regular season games. If so, I can easily them making the ACC championship game again.

i think at full strength they are a top 3 ACC team and could definitely make some noise in the ACC and NCAA tourneys

On the surface, we look like a nightmare matchup for UNC. Our bigs are far superior and their guards aren’t really the ‘break you down and attack’ type we struggle against so much. The area where they can cause problems is with their shooting. If they don’t have a really, really good night shooting the ball I don’t see how they beat us.

Only issue for them is if they get Bonzie back for the acc tourney they'll be a 7-10 seed. They can beat uva but I think we would be way too much for them if they draw us in the second round. For the NCAA tourney they have senior leadership and experience and their bench would be very experienced by then. I could see them being a 10 or 11 seed and making noise

I should say I only watched the last 20 sec so I had no idea about Nd not scoring. Dumb I wish Roy would let me borrow some of the NC mnt luck! Ha

We will beat them by at least 10. “I could give a **** about Carolina right now.”

That last ND shot was halfway down and came back out. I think the rims are made by UNX grads. Have to be.
