I have a nice framed JJ Redick autographed photo from his senior year at Duke. I'm selling it on ebay and wanted to let y'all know. I'm really not sure a value on it but it's a pretty nice piece.

It is nice and I can. I don't want it to become political but.. He made me mad when he went off on a tangent about trump during the national anthem stuff and said that he would take a knee or do anything else during the anthem his team wanted to do.
Me and my wife were in the process of moving and I still had this at my parents house from when I still lived and home and so I figured it was a good time to part

Brother!!! I’m a Trump fan too but not sure I’d depart with Duke memorabilia just because of what a player said. They removed a statue on campus, are you still a Duke fan? They probably disagree with how you voted but you still cheer for them, right. Not giving you a hard time but just maybe giving a little clarity. As always GTHC!!!

I have to agree. Don’t think that every one you like or come across (especially in sports) is going to share all of your values. Doesn’t mean you can’t still root for them, support them- you might just have different political views.

I totally agree but the way he went about it was above and beyond to me. And he's entitled to his opinion totally but I just can't look at him the same and he was my favorite of any sport. If it had been another Duke player I don't think it would of even bothered me

out of curiosity how did you get it signed? I have a picture of jj breaking the all time scoring record against Miami from my seats inside of Cameron. I have tried and tried to get his autograph, but no such luck.

I totally agree but the way he went about it was above and beyond to me. And he's entitled to his opinion totally but I just can't look at him the same and he was my favorite of any sport. If it had been another Duke player I don't think it would of even bothered me

In college J.J. openly acknowledged his leaning right, too. In fact, I remember an article that was done on the J.J.-Morrison hype and how different they were....politics included.

Yes I remember. And in 2012 on twitter he was talking about liking Romney. That probably played into my shock too

He came to Asheville after his senior yr to play in the ACC vs Crossfire game and I got it there. He was on fire there too and the line to meet him was wrapped around the building. Pretty crazy

Probably so. And I can understand it somewhat. I was talking to a friend today he "likes" him but wants him to just tone down his stuff. He is brash and that turns off people. Personally I love it but I can see why some repubs don't like him. I just hope they don't jump to the alternative.
