We couldnt defend the 3 point line against our exhibition opponents, so I guess I can’t be surprised. It just seems like something that can improve quite easily. It’s effort.

Sad thing is that TX isnt shooting that well...but have taken 11 more shots...there has to be an increase in intensity. I say it every year - these young talented teams need leadership...Allen has to be it and its hard when you are sat on the bench and struggling. None of the new players seem to want to be that guy...get into the face of the others etc...earlier in the season they seemed to have the desire and chemistry to defend..but of late not so much

We have to go back to man, have to. The zone simply does nothing for us. It is not even a good zone. They get wide open 3 after wide open 3. When they miss they get easy rebounds.

Grayson has been playing like crap lately. The over play switching man to man defense hasn't worked in years. Play a traditional man to man defense works better. Sag off a bit like we did in 2010.

There’s a thread about this from last year. Many defended Bilas and still do. I thought he was trying to be fair but I can tell ya one team he gets excited for.

This is what you get from Highly touted Freshmen. They are used to things being easy. They will realize to play at Duke means you take no games off and expect easy. It’s every opponents biggest game of the year. Win or lose they will learn from it

He is the glue, and must play well. Period.

So goes GA, so goes Duke. He really hasnt had a breakout game since MSU, and basically outside of Furman, Duke has struggled. This team is going to go as far as we can ride the senior IMO, ultimately. OFC
