It was an honest mistake(whether you want to believe it or not) im not interested in trolling you guys, just want to join forces against the delusional kensucky fans.... And btw, ive already changed to the *correct* use of Duke
I went to Duke undergrad and SCar grad. I grew up in Columbia.
Cal is a used car salesman, but where’s the evidence he is a real scum bag? He gets underqualified kids into college to win games. He allows fake SATs. He pals around with agents that give recruits cash and other things they enjoy. The way I see it: he’s playing the game the way it is set up. The underbelly of college ball is ugly. We all know this. Cal is the master of this world. I don’t think it makes him a bad person. These kids take the money and free passes. Cal holds up his end by promoting the hell out of them and encouraging them to go pro.
He breaks rules, but who is getting hurt by it besides the professors who have to deal with the unqualified “students”? The NBA is to blame.
My guess is that Duke has a rep of taking care of our elite players after they leave, via jobs or other kinds of valuable connections. That’s probably our angle. Brotherhood of wealthy guys.
I can't buy 'an honest mistake'. It's a derisive term for Duke and all Duke fans and everyone else knows it. It requires dropping the 'u & e' while adding a couple of 'o's' in the middle between D & K...and that makes it impossible for it to be just a careless spelling error. I don't know who you are, but you're not a Duke fan.
