daniel jones was not sharp today but still competed. the oline had a lot to do with that as they kept giving in to pressure from a 3 man rush. bad day for evan lisle. can parker not punt the ball short of the end zone? can he not learn how to kick to a corner? why do we not catch all punts in the air? when we do we have some exciting plays. the d gave up 4 or 5 huge plays but all the rest of the game they were very very good. so much youth making an impact.
all this being said we beat a baylor team that on paper still has more talent than us and we beat them soundly. we gave up ten scoring points at the end of the first half that by the end of the year we wont make those mistakes. bad pass by daniel in the red zone and parker missed a short field goal.( he kicks the ball straight so center the ball and he wont miss. put out to hash marks and it is fifty fifty)
think if we said before the season that we would be 3-0 at this point we would be jumping for joy. not hitting on all cylinders yet which just shows how high the ceiling can be for this team

The only part I would qualify is that the o-line didn't have a strong game pass blocking. I thought they did pretty well run blocking. Wilson and the backup were terrific today. I agree with everything else you said, haha.

I did think Jones was off a bit. The drops by the receivers (including the first play of the day) didn't help Jones settle in, but I thought the adjustment in play calling helped with that as the game went on.

I really like our defense...a lot. DT is a strength as well as the secondary. LB seems to be steadily improving. I'm excited about this season. Let's get bowl eligible because we always seem to an in the most exciting game of the bowl season.

Cut will downplay it naturally, thats "coachspeak," but Surratt's decommit to the archrivals who trashed our locker rooms a few years ago had to eat his insides. It was dirty the way it went down, and its quite a TEAM and PERSONAL war next week

They all freaks at the next level. The thing about this Clemson team their depth is unbelievable. I'm a Duke fan and like our football team but I was pulling for Clemson to curb stomp Louisville. I think we beat cryalina this week and may not be close.
