***DUKE VS FLORIDA STATE OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

[Jnood]

Took the score keeper long enough to put Tatum's points up on the board.

OFC

I was very confused!

[Get Nasty]

Jones please graduate, jeter transfer... k please come back

[K-oach Q]

Layup..Dunk...Rebound...Repeat..Layup..Dunk..Rebound...Repeat

It's quite embarrassing...

[duhondukie]

Why did we get away from the zone?

[germantondevil]

Tatim has went to NBA mode only worried about himself

[dukehokie]

Tatum has NBA scouted us out of this game.

[MyDudeG_rivals]

Don't think we have the defense to make a run right now.

[dukehokie]

Tatim has went to NBA mode only worried about himself

Jinx.

[VaBlueDevil33]

When every big you have is soft as hell this happens....gonna have a hard time winning a road game in ACC

And everyone blaming Capel...geez give him a break

[Jnood]

Nice. Put him on the line also.

[WI#1Dukie22]

Self imploded, no K showing early and often. Capel went to Tatum, Tatum no where near ready. Still time but we need to go to our vets every single play.

[Showenuff]

This is where I want to see a fight. I know we won't win but I need to see them not give up here.

[duhondukie]

This team just loses all sense of basketball when they get punched in the mouth.

[DukeCE2006]

This is why the 2015 team was so good. They were so mentally tough, I wasn't afraid when they went down, and they were finishers. This team I'm afraid when we are down 3 points.

I'm hoping we get tougher as the season progresses but it just seems like this year is cursed.

[nets on nets on nets]

Given the expectations this team had. This is one of the most upset moments I've had in a regular season. We flat out STINK.

[OldasdirtDevil]

I was very confused!

Yeah, the first point they put up was for the 'and 1', then waited another minute or so before putting up the initial basket. Crazy.

OFC

[2004Audi]

No fing effort on the defensive end Tatum half *** on the floor for a loose ball and to after to. A piss poor effort tonight

[Get Nasty]

He's been our best big tonight

Tallest small person

[BlueDevils725]

LOL our defense is a joke. I've never seen something that bad, I love our guys but we're just not good. Let's keep beating awful teams by 40+ though, gives us some false hope.

[TWARedRaider01]

No pg play, no defense, a bunch of individuals. Looked good on paper but thats about it

[crazyduke3]

How are 4 and 5 * recruits so bad at stopping dribble drive every year???? This aspect of coaching must improve.

[Kingbluedevil]

We were doing pretty good till our freshman decided they were going to take over.

[chov1125]

It is NOT easy to win on the road in the ACC. Especially when we are going to get every team's best shot. This wasn't a complete disaster tonight. We need to learn from our mistakes and keep working. It's not going to happen overnight

We need to develop our bigs defensively. If we can't stop penetration and disrupt possessions we won't have the year we want

[duhondukie]

I just don't see anyone ready for the NBA. I understand they draft on potential but against good competition these guys just implode

[K-oach Q]

Hard to not give up when you can't defend anybody...this team can't defend anybody...

Defense travels...and we don't have it...

[WI#1Dukie22]

Get nasty needs to go.... How in the world is he still around. If he goes I'll call tonigh a win

[pisgah101]

Maybe wearing that number 0 makes you make terrible decisions?? Austin rivers 2.0 with the difference of having lots of great talent around you

[CRAZIE4LIFE]

I really got to stop getting so over excited before the season starts

[Get Nasty]

This is the worst team I've ever seen with this much talent

[MyDudeG_rivals]

In a game in which we DESPERATELY need size, the fact that Bolden is a non-factor is completely telling of where he's at this season.

[DFerryFan]

Well FSU, you're welcome for the one time you'll sell out tickets in your basketball stadium this year.

[SoCal Dukie]

Boneheaded move putting 5 guards in. Tatum is very selfish this evening.

Game over. On to the next one.

[Get Nasty]

2 top 5 picks and we'll be a 4 seed

[Jnood]

Why does Matt jones dribble?

[WI#1Dukie22]

Plenty of time here

[OldasdirtDevil]

Still have a chance if we can regain our composure a little.

OFC

[CRAZIE4LIFE]

Tatum has been selfish since Elon

[Showenuff]

Crowd got to Grayson.

[dukiejay]

We're just a really bad defensive team. The 2015 team bought in and put it together defensively after being so bad for most of January. Can this team do the same thing? I just don't know if they can.

[Ryyse]

Effort! Too many guys standing around when they should be blocking out.
