What isn't politicized?I pretty much agree. But it's been politicized and depending on which side of the fence you are on, you are going to see it differently. But in the end, what you, I or anyone else believes isn't going to change anyone's mind by continuing this conversation.
What bothers me mostly about this is that even if you are against the bill, you should acknowledge that the NCAA should have stayed out of it. But that's just this guy's opinion.
There are facts that should look the same way no matter which side of the fence you're on. That transgender rights to appropriate bathrooms is not a free-for-all for anyone to enter any restroom would be the first one I would want in place in any conversation moving forward.
I disagree that the NCAA should stay out of it. There are 5 states where public universities have been banned from traveling to NC; there are concerns about Title IX violations; there is the principle of full inclusiveness; there are many,many precedents for the overlap of sports and social issues.
