If I recall correctly someone posted a pic of Ozzie about 2 years ago holding the NCAA championship trophy. And the two things that surprised me were: (1) that Ozzie is a white guy, and (2), he kind of looks like me, albeit a taller version. I had always pictured Ozzie looking like the Avon Barksdale character on the HBO TV Show "The Wire." And if any of you guys watched that show, Avon Barksdale was a pretty good hoopster. There is a classic scene in the first season of "The Wire" involving the Eastside Baltimore vs. Westside Baltimore basketball teams in which each side is stacked with "ringers", one of whom is an Allen Iverson like point guard who is buried on the bench until halftime so that the other team can take a big lead. Avon Barksdale then gets duped into betting double or nothing on the Easties (and he loses the bet, which I think was $20,000, after the "ringer" stud point guard is inserted and goes off).
IMHO "The Wire" is the best TV series in the history of television.
