Just a note, don't particularly love when either side uses "America will (fill in the blank)" because as this site shows, a certain portion of America absolutely will (me for example), but MAGA, while I think a minority, also isn't a trans athlete minority.
I hear ya and I think you know by now that I'm not as judicious as you and I'll be a lil hyperbolic at times, especially when interacting with piggy and growls. I also notice that you rarely express approval of anything I say, even when it's innocuous but when you do have something to say, it never comes across as supportive. That's fine but curious since I'm pretty sure we're on the same side on most issues.
Fair enough. It's the hyperbole etc. While I often agree with the core of the message, I do try to be judicious and often don't agree with the language that often generalizes or implies maliciousness that may not be there (I have had a lot of my back and forths with people on here about that because it absolutely matters).
You're extremely careful about everything you say and overly neutral when IMO it's not necessary and that's fine - you seem like a really nice guy and that has it's pluses. I'll probably never be that guy, though I'm really easy to get along with in person, but when I'm dealing with the types we have on this forum, sans someone like ANEW who I like, it's impossible for me to be you haha. And I understand if my hyperbole turns you off - all good. Different strokes ;-)

They can try, but the law is pretty clear here. When Trump was running for President and when he first got elected, Obama could do ANYTHING he wanted to Trump as long as he can frame it as part of official duties as President (like investigating contacts between Trump and Russia). At that point Obama was above the law in EVERY way. This very SCOTUS has ruled that a sitting President can not be prosecuted for any crime and once he's out of office he can't be impeached. It was good enough for Trump and all you Trumpians cheered this insane ruling, now it's the same thing for Obama... Cut and dried, so it doesn't matter what Obama did or didn't do... he was above the law as President.

I saw the whole interview and he said it's ridiculous that he's being treated like a criminal who conspired to harm Trump, he was simply doing his job. He noted that Obama wanted to collect the evidence of Russian meddling to pass along to the next administration and that's what they did. He said he's had to keep a lawyer on retainer ever since due to Trump's depravity, not because he broke the law.
