Not sure, but would assume there is a structured settlement for this type of injury within the CBA. I bet he will at least have healthcare services provided by the league for this issue indefinitely. I would hope so anyway.

Yeah, Tippett was mostly a DEnd, the hawks played a lot of 5-2-4 under Fry and Brashier. Tippett was usually the wide side defensive end/lbkr. But in those days there were very few 5 receiver sets let alone 4 receiver sets and running backs going out deep on pass routes.

Lots of farm ground in northeast Iowa with that kinda cash. I'd hang it up and hope CTE stays away long enough to enjoy a few decades.
